thats probably because he did bugger all for you guys, so bad choice on my part, if he was decent you'd be telling me he is a saint. You're more biased than my mate who was born in liverpool!

Har har. You're kidding right?

Diouf could have scored 412 goals in 80 appearances and won us the title.

It doesn't change the fact that he's a ****.

Take Salif Diao, he did absolutely nothing for LFC in his time there, yet, he's not a **** and I don't have a problem with him.

Or guys like Morientes, did nothing, yet champion players and very good people off the field.

Diouf is a ****, regardless of his on field performances.

Truth.

Other than Terry, the rest could happen.

I'd rather sign Titus Bramble than Albiol.

Hiddink, meanwhile, has urged Chelsea to bid for Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Not capable of stepping up to Champions League level I'm afraid.

AC Milan are lining up a £15m summer bid for Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy.

Haha.

Yeah, like he's going to leave for AC Milan.

Wigan are interested in signing Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton and will move for him at the end of the season.

Why?

Jeremie Aliadiere will quit Middlesbrough if they are relegated and the striker could make a shock return to Arsenal.

Rofl.

I wouldn't have thought so. :D

Blackburn defender Andre Ooijer has confirmed he will return to PSV Eindhoven next season.

Ooh Yeah! :thumbsu:

Birmingham striker Kevin Phillips is wanted by Australian side Perth Glory.

He could score 90 goals a season in the A-League.

England boss Fabio Capello has branded striker Wayne Rooney a "crazy man" after the striker's red card in Manchester United's defeat by Fulham.

Understatement of the century cabbage man.

Although slightly hypocritical.

Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia is considering an application for a British passport that would allow the Spaniard to play for England.

Would he even be first choice? Better than being about 10th in line for Spain though, I suppose.

Uefa says it will bring match fixing charges against a European club within days.

Done.

Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun is set to anger his employers by risking his fitness to play for Israel on Saturday.

He won't start, so it's probably irrelevant.

Having Mascherano coming back from Argentina's game at altitude is the concern.

As well as the number of season ending injuries our players are sure to suffer.

Everton defender Joseph Yobo will be offered a new £6m contract in the hope of fending off interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone has alerted Aston Villa, Newcastle and Everton by admitting he has concerns about his future at White Hart Lane.

Giving Yobo a new contract on that sort of money is a waste when you consider that our financial resources are more scarce than other premiership clubs and the fact he is no longer in our best 11.

As for Huddlestone, whatever money we do have to spend in the summer, a player such as him shouldn't be a high priority. Phil Neville has been doing an excellent job in central midfield and he is showing no signs of slowing down despite recently turning 32.

Can't see him fitting into the hard working, team-oriented system you've got going, either.

I have not seen alot of Huddlestone, so I will take your word for it that he is a lazy type. It seems strange that he is being linked with sides managed by Moyes and O'neill if that's the case, but those managers múst back themselves in to turn his work rate around. Everton tend to be able to accomodate one lazy player (Yakubu) and get away with it, so we would be pushing our luck going in with two of those types.

Huddlestone is a lazy sod with freakish natural ability. He can be a good impact player off the bench but he has no future at Spurs.

He'll probably move to a club like Wigan and Bolton.

Jeremie Aliadiere will quit Middlesbrough if they are relegated and the striker could make a shock return to Arsenal.

Yeah, umm ... we've already got Bendtner playing the role of non-scoring striker, but ... thanks.

I would take him at Everton. He is very lazy but has the talent.

Would Spurs take 2 or 3 M for him?

Joleon Lescott is being linked with a move to Arsenal in the News Of The World. If Arsenal's interest was genuine then I could see him wanting to move there, as he would be playing in his favoured position each week (centre back) and would be doing so for a team that is playing in the champions league and challenging for major trophies.

He'd also be ridiculously expensive/overpriced on the basis of nationality and close proximity in terms of league position of the clubs.

He'd also be ridiculously expensive/overpriced on the basis of nationality and close proximity in terms of league position of the clubs.

I agree that the price tag has the potential to put Arsenal off, but what would happen if Lescott were to hand in a transfer request? I'm sure that he is the ambitious type and the fact he wont be playing champions league or winning trophies at Everton may lead to him handing in a transfer request.

Moyes has shown in his time at Everton that more often than not he will not keep first team regulars if they want to leave, as shown by Johnson, Rooney, Davies, Kilbane, Gravessen, Mcfadden, Naysmith, Stubbs, Weir...ect. So if Lescott were to hand in a transfer request and Moyes sticks to past behaviour regarding players wanting out, then we might have to accept less than he is worth.

Moyes has shown in his time at Everton that more often than not he will not keep first team regulars if they want to leave,

On Moyes, I reckon he's done an outstanding job at Everton. But how long will he stay and/or how long will the club want to keep him? The longer he keeps Everton around the fringes of Europe, the greater the desire that Everton fans will want to see their club take the jump into the top 4.

The owner and chairman's (Bill Kenwright) grip on the club has been slipping for some time and the acquisition and performance of David Moyes is the only legitimate claim that he has to stay in the role. With that being the case, there is no way that he can get rid of Moyes without being lynched by the fans, so there is next to no chance of the club getting rid of him.

There is also no real chance of him being poached as he has another 5 years on a recently signed new contract to go and the compensation that would be due to Everton is in excess of £10 million if reports are to be believed. The fact that he recently re-signed suggests that he isn't thinking of leaving Everton under his own volition.

The fans don't really have any expectation that we will break into the top 4 and most are amazed at the constant top 6 finishes he has delivered. These expectations will only change if we are taken over by a wealthy consortium, which doesn't look like happening in the meantime.

FULHAM IN KEWELL SWOOP

5/04/2009
HOTLINE
Fulham want to bring Harry Kewell (right) back to the Premier League.
Craven Cottage manager Roy Hodgson has made the signing of a left winger his priority and could tempt Aussie Kewell, 30, back to England from Galatasaray..
Kewell's Liverpool career was dogged by injury and although he needed a hernia op in mid-season, he has proved a success since moving to Turkey.
Kewell has only a year left on his contract and would be available for a relatively modest fee..

No idea what you would want him for.

You're building a good hardworking team, willing to fight for the cause.

A spineless prick like Kewell certainly isn't going to help in that regard. Plus he's already shown his body can't hack it in England anymore.

Everton manager David Moyes is preparing a summer bid for Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas.

Aston Villa are also interested in Jenas - if they lose Gareth Barry to Liverpool in the summer.

Newcastle have made a £6m inquiry about Wigan striker Amr Zaki.

Stoke City are set to launch a new bid for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Aaron Mokoena.

Swindon striker Simon Cox is a £2m target for West Brom and Leicester.
