As great as we've been it's going to be hard to hold on to a top 4 spot from here given our draw and latest injury setbacks.

We might be able to still make it winning just 2 of 3 but one of those wins must be against Sydney you sense.

If we lose any of the 3 then Melbourne who are already ahead of us would be the best outcome.

Top 4 is obviously huge however with syd, bris and freo fighting for that spot as well, 5th is just a important. Don’t want elimination finals against any of them on their home grounds if possible.

Important to try and dodge an elimination final, as 7th or 8th will likely be an inconsistent team like Dogs, Richmond or Carlton that are capable at their best. As you said if we can make the 4 it means we'd likely get most of those interstate sides at the G

As others have said, I think we’re either going to finish 3rd or 5th from here. Finishing 5th (or 6th) is a recipe for disaster, because we’ll probably face the Tigers or Dogs (both of whom gave us a touch up this year).

The goal has to be to win at least 2 of our last 3 now. I wouldn’t want to be going into the last two needing to win both… we must beat the Dees!
