Sullivan can obviously find the footy, which I actually think is an area of need for us as the last few years we have focused more on athletic attributes than footy sense( Harrison, Allan, de mattia, mcinnes).
My question for those who've seen him live would be what his vision, ball use look like, and does he set up positive scoring opportunities.

How many positions exist away from the forward line for tiny people whose main asset is goal kicking?
They tried to play him half back in last year's preseason - I'm assuming it was to play it as runner like Nick - more than as a defender.

He’s a better user of the ball than Adam’s and macrae

But come back they did, with Richards kicking two in two minutes to spark them and his fourth for the term and sixth for the game put them within two points at the 37-minute mark of a marathon last term in which Collingwood kicked eight majors to four.

For Collingwood, Richards finished with those six goals without blemish from 18 disposals while Lachie Sullivan and Ned Long shared 60 touches and 18 clearances between them. Jack Bytel had 25 possessions and Harvey Harrison put in a quality shift with 23 touches, seven marks, nine tackles and a goal

If you were ever gonna debut a bloke it's Richards this week

In form

Just play him

I don’t get to watch training or VFL. What’s Richards’ best/likely position and who would you have come out for him?

And which past/present AFL player does he remind you of? Thanks!

I don’t think Sullivan has fluency on both sides with his kicking like Macrae.
It’s one of Finn’s clear strengths.
In traffic Finn has great hands - his low handball to set up Beau’s goal was elite.

Richards seems pretty strictly a small forward. Not sure who would come out for him

I’ll be there.👍
Damn, have friends coming around to watch the seniors play. No way I can go to game then be back in time.

Fancy putting the game on at 2pm when the seniors start at 5pm.

and was subbed straight after that as i recall.
it was Pendles like, deliberately under the arm of the approaching Brisbane player to put McReery into space

I do think it's Pendles - rather than Mitchell - that they'll be hoping he can replace. Back of the pack for defensive coverage and to release blokes by hand when he gets it. He's not a ball hunter.

Isn't the VFL game against Blues on Sunday 14/4? The seniors have a bye that week.

Yeah league wide bye this week. Next week v Carlton. While the afl have a bye but anyone would be available to play in the vfl if they wanted to
