Alright, so I've been called out on his total on air time. The fact is though, he's had a fair run on radio. He's not a hugely talented on air commentator/analyst or radio personality. The soccer version of FFS was fair enough. He can piss off for a week, or more. He's not a big deal.

Just like Mick Malthouse would want to know if your going to drop him from the side , who or what is your choice to replace him ?

Too much bagging and not enough solid replacements being offered up.

Going by this thread who ever gets the gig in any shift is just a sitting duck.

Map out the whole 168 hours broadcast time choose your shows and hosts and find funding to pay them unless its coming out of our own pockets , even Russell Crowe soon realised that was a bad idea.

This exchange started because people weren't happy with the alternatives, and I was defending the alternative. The soccer FFS was fair enough, appropriate and the best use of the station. Peake is just a fat, old man getting his rocks off doing his hobby, which just happens to be crapping on about mainly footy on SEN, He is not good analyst and is not a bright enough personality to warrant being on the station as often. If you added up the total amount of hours he's been on air, relative to his talent, he is running way ahead. He can piss off for a week or two, or three...It's no big loss.

Can someone dumb it down for me? A company (marketing? Copyrighting?) went bust, and they owe A few grand to a bank? Is that it?

seemed very vague, but appears the company was wound up which probably involves all types of red tape re docs. these docs were not lodged on time or something along those lines.

really sounds a bit trivial but still something for someone to call him up about? should ask if james hird thinks finey is innocent!!!:D

Thanks. Yeah, I thought it seemed a bit wishy-washy.

Was funny listening to the Watters interview this morning then Tim read out a sms that said after listening to Watters speak i'm going to renew my family membership and the optimism is high.
Nek Minnit....St.Kilda rabble strike again

Why on earth wouldn't you just outline why he was sacked?
If it's an untenable situation why wouldn't you say so?
The president won't say anything ?
Bizarre

Unfortunately the station employees ( mostly apologists ) will toe the line and not be critical of their club.
We all know there was a strained relationship with Watters and people at the club, so why wouldn't you just say that??
