Compelling radio with Berry and Kosi today. Especially about the 2010 GF1. Also at the realisation of how footy is a part of daily life, having started a regular job for the first time in his 30s after playing footy.
I was about to put the same on here. That hour with those 2 has been a bonus and Radar lets them go, great radio.

I wonder if the reason SEN are scared of making changes or replacing people is that they need them for the football each week ?
If you think about it OX Maher KB Allan Harf I might have forgot some but isnt nearly every show host also a commentator or special comments person on SEN football each week.
That means if you replace them in one role they will most certainly not stick around for the other role so any new show hosts have to be able to commentate on the football.
Was this the original concept of SEN that the hosts would double up as it seems to be a catch 22 for the SEN mgt and cant be healthy for deciding futures
Anyone know ?
I see them as more of a clique.

Marcus was just on, off his chops as usual.
He mentioned he has a job.
Hopefully he doesn't drive to work!
Oh joy, now Pam's on!
Did you notice that Pam stopped talking and was waiting for a response, nothing came so she just kept going. Clearly the guys just weren't listening for a few minutes and just let her have her say.

Allen is used for around the grounds or was. They don't need him for football. They don't need him at all

I am not sure of every ones exact role as I don't listen that much now that EON is here .
I think if you have the footy on the tv then why would you listen to it.
That raises the question when SEN have those non Victorian games like Bris v Port at Gabba and its on Fox Footy who would even bother listening to that sort of game ?

Are SEN deliberately forgetting the North players wanted to know because they wanted to tell their families when to come to their farewell game?

If they didn't tell the players and let the season finish before informing them, then the media would be all over North for not giving them a farewell game.

New ratings came out this week, and the yo-yo nature of the results seem to be still working. Fair dinkum, the different programs go up and down for no apparent reason. I bet they're flipped again on the next survey.

Breaky: up to 4.1 from 3.5
KB: down to 4.1 from 4.9
Maher: down to 4.2 to 5.1
Harford and Marko: up to 5.9 from 5.1
Mark Fine: up to 5.3 from 4.2

Mon to Fri, all shifts: same (4.5)
Weekends: up to 4.6 from 3.9
Over all (7 days) up to 4.6 from 4.4

They look like pretty big jumps for the breakfast and drive shows, despite what the naysayers say about them. Herald Sun had a story online about their FNF beating MMM too - has that ever happened?

Yeah, 5.9 is a half-decent number for Marko and Harford, especially for what is essentially a niche station. And their biggest ever result was a 7 a few years ago (for Ox and Marko).

Jee, I didn't know that. Do you remember what day it was?

Boo! SEN are farking around with their website again. No podcasts.

https://www.sen.com.au/
Oh, oops, they're putting some podcasts on their homepage, but I didn't scroll down enough to see them.
There's not as many. If anyone's interested, they're also putting some on their Facebook page; the same ones, it looks like.

I think I prefer the other way.

Any Idea how EON are going or is it to early
They are not on this list ?

Nah, I'm not sure. 3MP don't even get on there, even though they've been around for decades

Sad to say I can remember when 3MP opened in a small funky round building at Chadstone shopping centre, when that was only still basically a strip of shops surrounded by some car parks. Used to go every saturday morning with my parents.
