Paul...

Sorry, man, it's out of season. We will speak about hot stove league, though, which is the off season movement of players from team to team. That is always a pretty interesting time. We did have Travis Blackely in for a couple segments, recently. He's a ball player.

Hey Steve love the show, but could we have more baseball please:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Will Anthony Hudson be approached by 3AW management in the near future, after the passing of Clinton Grybas?

Very unlikely, when Hudson left 3AW to go to SEN there was a fallout between himself and the station. There was even a quote from the 3AW station manager saying something along the lines of "there is no chance that he will be working here ever again".

I found that american interesting to listen to he seems to have a good laid back attitude.
Think you have spelt his name wrong though as i was on sen website before its actually spelt Solsbory

You are right the Sen website spells the name Solsbury
When I was growing up their was an American athlete that did the Fosbury Flop back in the 60's.
I am sure it should be spelt Salisbury thats the way everyone spells it except Sen
I am thinking that maybe this forums favourite Mark Johnston must also be in charge of the website.
The employees tell him when they want to work and not want to work and he also cant spell his employees surnames correctly , its a happy medium.

I hope 3aw don't pick up any of SENs great talent...if they were to pick granland or hudson it would be a huge loss for SEN.

Hey Steve

Love your work mate, but I think you should devote an entire segment to the phenom that is Beantown ...

There is a very strong chance that the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics and collect all three major titles in one calender year, and I'm not sure, but I'm fairly certain no US city has managed to win the World Series, Super Bowl and the NBA Finals in the same year/season :)

It is just an incredible amount of success the city of Boston and New England is having, and yeah I still don't know why so many people hate the Patriots, they are such an awesome unit to watch :)

Yeah that is the way that it is spelt on the Born In The USA website.

Celtic Pride....

You are right about the Pats. The league may be more watered down in 07 than in the 80s, but you cannot argue with 16-0. That is the most amazing team achievement I have ever seen. Every team eventually gets cut down by bad luck, lousy calls, injuries, whatever, but not these guys.... I have a hard time seeing how they are going to screw up the opportunity to go 19-0.
The Sox were great last season....and they will be for the next few years.
The Celts.... What a difference a year makes....I actually like the Celtics. They are my eastern squad. Those guys are 29-3. Can you believe that?? I thought....50-55 wins for that team. They may have that many by March! Let's see how they go down the stretch when those inevitable injuries happen. Can you see that team beating the Spurs? I am not sure I can.

Yeah, Boston is having a year like none other. You are right, no city has won all 3 (NBA, NFL, MLB) in a year. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for that city's teams. IF that happens, that place might just self combust, so it's probably best that doesn't happen.

Well we know it won't be happening in the Bay Area ;)

SEN hosts >> SEN management.

Only 1 actually respond to listeners.
Only 1 get paid to respond to their listeners off air, and yet they dont.

LOL Jim Willoughby.

Had a Richmond nuff nuff call up making BigFooty style insults and he says:

"Buddy Franklin or Richard Tambling I know who'd i prefer" and cuts him off!
Gold.

Having said that i thought James was a bit negative regarding Australia's win tonight.

SEN must be loving the Indian cricket controversy today. Give them a few days feverish talkback.

I hope I don't start a debate on the topic on this thread, but fair dinkum there have been some muppets on air this morning. Especially that Indian reporter they interviewed just after 7.
