Hello, everyone! My name is Thiago Vacite. I am a Crow supporter from Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Some of you already probably know me from an article on Adelaide's website published a couple of years ago: http://www.afc.com.au/news/2016-07-06/crows-love-from-brazil-and-more

I have been active on the internet, following our club, but not at BigFooty; at least, not until now. This is my first post ever here. I am starting a Podcast along with a Port Power supporter also from Porto Alegre. Since he is on BigFooty (GremioPower), I decided to get in here to even things up a bit.

The Podcast will be on the Showdown, on Adelaide FC, on that other club, and on many things more. I am an Inter supporter, so GP and I are also rivals in soccer. We will try to bring a South American seasoning to the already-spicy South Australian rivalry. Gre-Nal is the best Brazilian soccer rivalry (8th greatest rivalry in the world, according to FourFourTwo), just as the Showdown is the best Australian footy rivalry.

The show is called "Rivals Without Borders." It is going to be broadcasted live on Fridays at midnight in Adelaide (ending Saturday, 1am).

If you are interested, here is the link for our podcast on Spreaker: https://www.spreaker.com/show/rivals-without-borders

The first show will be this week. We are going to be reviewing our victory over them and talking on the expectations for the rest of the season. Feel free to join in and participate in the chat room, so we can celebrate together our superiority on the derby, just like Inter has more wins than Gremio!

Hey Thiago, nice to see another podcast! Good choice of platform too, are you doing it live on spreaker?

In any case we will give you a plug on crow cast and if you want me to put a link to your cast on our site, pm me :)

Portfanradio also have a spreaker set up, and post on Bigfooty. You might want to get in touch with Macca19 to see if they will drop a link on their shows. Im sure theyd be keen given the content.

Welcome!

My wife's from Brazil, near Porto Alegre also. My in-laws recruited me as a Gremio supporter. The trade off was they would support the Crows :p.

It never occurred to me beforehand that Gremio's colours are similar to Ports though ....

"Grêmio é o melhor" is what they had me say.

Acho que não tivemos nenhum brasileiro neste lado até agora, mas temos pelo menos um português.;)

Welcome and sorry I missed the podcast this morning. Something very special about all you people tuning in from all over the planet. :)

Maybe if there's another podcast? :)

Great to have you on board. I taught English in São Paulo many years ago (actually signed up to Bigfooty while I was living there - hence the username). Many memories of trying to make clear to my students that Australian football isn’t rugby!
Just curious as to what attracted you to Footy and Adelaide FC?
Incidentally, I chose Sâo Paulo as my team over Corinthians and Palmeiras.
No idea how they’ve been going lately but keen to check now!
