The stars they are a-lignin'

Next week we take on the Cats, and after blowing a 4-goal lead in Round 1, we come up against them with the possibility of them missing all of Scarlett, Mooney, Podsiadly, Hawkins, Ling and Corey.

It could be our best opportunity to beat the champs for a long while, and could certainly spark our season.

Re: The stars could be aligning

I'm pretty confident too. Thought we were very good in patches yesterday under conditions we're not used to, having no bench and battling against the men in white (or whatever colour they were in yesterday).

Hopefully those conditions weren't too taxing on our legs.

Pods MKII to be released this week (Maybe ;))

Re: The stars could be aligning

It's Ben Johnson. Don't know if the club will cough up the cash to promote him for (likely) only one game. All three of the key forwards would have to miss for him to play I think.

Re: The stars could be aligning

Yep, I was more concerned with the injury than the report.

Mooney very unlikely. Hawkins definitely out.

Ling probable to play. Scarlett no chance.

Plus Ottens, Rooke, Corey.

As well as the possibility of Gary still down in the dumps about playing forward. Poor little fella.

Oh and, fix your quote, noob.

LOL! Two words "David Hille".

Should be a cracker game. Looks like we will be forced to play small which will mean a very fast game. Think it will be under 15 points either way.
