2017 - 6th*
2023 - 8th
So we tend to be the exception to that rule, but we also appear to be falling after each defeat, so maybe we end up 10th.

Yes but think we are still in the window we have seen Collingwood go for basically bottom. I could easily see us rebounding next year but we do have structural issues with the key position players and them being injured/out of form

Collingwood went from 17th to 4th and added Nick Daicos a skinny half back at the time to do so. All their other picks failed and they didn't trade in anyone that year

We have a side that has finished 6th 2nd 8th 2nd in the last 4 years. We have a nucleus of a team that can get a GF. We have some impact Academy boys coming in next year in the draft.

Collingwood had a ton of injuries in the 2021 season much like we have this year. There is a damn load of similarities between the two sides
