How do you feel about 50 Games Milestone Threads?

NaturalDisaster doesn’t like them at all

I don't care a whole lot, depends on the club really.

DenieD , Pickitt , Elton Johns Wig and Jabba73 will you once appointed start a stickied thread to acknowledge and allow posters to pay there respects to the greatest Qooty team in the League? It’s never to late and it’s a chance to right wrongs and finally put to bed the fact that Baghdad Bombers has the most flags and has been the most influential club, carrying the league for to long now!

When can you start?

The Admin race and the recent debate about use of the term ‘ass’ reminded me of many fun seasons of Elton Johns Wig torturing NaturalDisaster .

Wiggy bequeathed ND the sobriquet NaturalDumbass and rghtly or wrongly it stuck.

At the moment I have Wiggy ahead of Jabba73 then a gap to @dockerden and then Pickitt

I have two questions for each of the candidates

1. Would you support a viable 14th team as an expansion Club, if this could be done without screwing up any of the other 12 teams or even the Drags?

2. What measures would you consider to restore a healthy media landscape?

Any choices in terms of changes to the amount of teams would need to be thought over and discussed with clubs, right now I don't see it happening without capping team lists further, and doing that is completely off the table for me, realistically it won't be the list 'cloggers' joining a new team, it'll be the people who are active and want that 14th team, creating an even bigger gap in teams activity.

The new Admin will be in charge for three seasons so quite a bit can change, including conditions conducive to a 14th team.

Without commenting on the rights and wrongs of any of the posters we have lost to permabans in recent seasons, I note two posters have been successfully rehabilitated and have made solid contributions on their return. Neither have posted in anyway but a constructive and amusing manner.

The Jesus and others successfully campaigned for the return of Haro and JWS. At a guess I reckon the Administration, Mods and Committee also lent their support.

With that in mind I hope our next Admin will do what they can to support the return of some some former posters provided they adhere to site rules.

Probably and I have no idea what the process is for people to be able to make a return. But iirc Haro and Joshy got banned for offences on this Board and I am guessing the views of the Admin and Mods of the time would have been sought On their potential return.

It's purely a site admin thing in line with the forum mods. The onus is on the posters that are banned to request their return and depending on the will of the big guy and an agreement with the mods (where required, Haro was forum banned so needed mod permission whereas JWS wasn't).

Of course, IF it could be done not hurting the other teams considerably. History says it's normally a while between expansions, but never say never.

Covered this off a bit earlier Horrie, but in essence I think the elder statesmen creating a learning area where interested parties can learn the basics of creating shoops, gifs etc. Plus a central hub of media posters putting out the "staple" media. There is work behind the scenes on this already started by KP.
