The Tambling Drafting Clanger pales into insignificance when considering Cotchin over Rioli.

Rioli is already playing some time on the ball.

So you haven't seen him yet then?
Put him in a Dees guernsey and see how he drops off. Simply a matter of a good recruit joining a team that is going places and had an awesome preseason. Having said that he has gelled into the role the coach has given him remarkably well, he looks like he's been at the club for a couple of years.

Maybe you can help me out here Big Cox, because I said in numerous threads that Masten was ten times the player Cotchin was... Before the start of the season...

Why don't we wait until Cotchin's on the paddock before casting judgments? It's easy for for unfit dorks on a computer to comment when i reckon they'd struggle to run to the fish n chip shop!/quote]

Or anyone over Rioli for that matter.

Only people who have not seen the first 5 Hawk games will disagree.

Rioli should have gone number one in last years draft.

Well done Hawks ...

Wait for Cotchin to play a few games first before writing this rubbish. Yes Rioli is very good (great bloodline) but give the kid a chance to show the afl world his wares.

People wrote off foley, King and thursfield but look where they are now :) We seem to have good luck with rookies.

H2F I propose we call tambling ''Clanger''

Thoughts?

Hadn't you already named him 'Bling' before the draft in anticipation of getting him?

Buddy was Hawthorn's third choice and they are very lucky it turned out like it has.

cotchin played first game for coburg on weekend after missing entire pre season, 26 possies in 3q of footy, I wouldn't think it would be too long before you retract that absurd statement:eek:

i watched coburg play on saturday and i think you will all be very suprised when Trent plays this year.

He played 1/2 a game in the ressies last week then about 65% in the seniors this week and was judged second BOG behing Bowden and every touch he had was class!

i think knocking a bloke who was widely regarded as the best midfielder from the 2007 draft (and a few would have taken him at No1 had they had the choice) is a bit premature.

Cyril looks great dont get me wrong but Trent is very very impressive and you all will see when he debuts.

Oh please.

Rioli will probably follow in the footsteps of his namesake and grow to the size of a sumo wrestler.

Then him and Stuart Dew can have a fight outside of the pie stand while the rest of your team laughs and make bets on the outcome. :thumbsu:

I go overseas and come back to find you are still a world class assmonkey. The kid hasn't even played yet , very poor troll especially, for the king of trolls, you tubby little biatch.

Hahahah, H2F didn't mean to hurt your feelings. :) :thumbsu: We had no idea you were quite the sensitive type :)

Do you Hawk wimps need to speak for each other now?

Dawk fans forget that they chose Roughnuts, bulldogs chose griffen, It was common knowledge that Buddy had an attitude bigger than his talent, he also had some off field issues, They will struggle to stop him going to WC for $1,000,000 PA.
Tambling on the other hand will prove his worth for the RFC.

He was nicknamed Bling because of his surname tamBLING

Nope, but if it gets the kinda reaction like yours then yes I will continue, I really didn't mean to get under your skin but now that I have. I'm enjoying it. :) :thumbsu:

Yes. I love someone who indulges in a bit of LP'ing.

You tend to overate your players slightly.

Thats what people said about us in 2005/2006 re Buddy and Hodge a few years back.

Rioli is an absolute gem and is only 18, there is only way he will go from an onfield performance perspective.

However the other part of the equation to this post is a bit unfair as Cotchin has been injured and must have talent to be taken at 2 gotta give the kid a chance.

Rioli isn't that good. I would rather every player that was picked in front of him (yes, even Dangerfield).
