I have a fence, an old fence that I share with my neighbors. The fence would of needed replacing some time in the next few years as the wooden support beams were rotting.

If you noticed I said would of. It's rooted now and there's gonna be shit go down over it.


A few weeks ago I was talking to my old neighbor when his wife approached. I'll call him Telegraph. I'll call her Special.

Special goes up to Telegraph and intrudes on our conversation with " I hope you've asked little graham if he's saving his money" .

I bite and ask what for. Special tells me the fence needs replacing and they are going to upgrade to a bigger one called "neighbor friendly" and that I have to pay half. Then I'm told that whats saved from the old one they're going to use on another of their fences to make that higher. Telegraph walked away as if he didn't like what Special was doing.

I asked them for quotes.


A few days later I'm out in the back yard when special calls me over and tells me I'm not going to have to pay for half as her son "Garfunkel" has some spare and they'll do the back 1/6th with. Again I asked for quotes.

A few days later Garfunkel's freebies turn up and telegraph starts surrounding his back section with it.We had a chat and I was told he gets 10 % discount at one place and his getting quotes from another.

Yesterday I go out the back and find the whole fence leaning over about to collapse. Telegraph removed two main supports so he could put part of the new fence up inside of the old one down the back. It had the whole effect of dragging all the fence over about to collapse on my side. I have had to prop it up. It was about to fall on a young tree I have planted and been watering for a few years.

Telegraph or Special have said nothing to me. I will be getting legal advice tomorrow. I believe he has vandalized shared property without consent.

FWIW...I used to know people who would throw rocks on your roof; I usually get reminded every quarter by SonOfReep, so beware of pissing off the Telegraph and Special.

Just be wary of them in the future could be nutters.

They are nutters. I've had issues for the last decade with them and have been soft because I don't like fighting with anyone, let alone neighbors. They use to bang on the wall when i was nailing a ranga most nights. An old lady living on her own two doors away has had a stalker for over 10 years. Special was caught by two of us doing it. Special is about 70 with rather bad anxiety and fatter than a beached whale pumped full of helium. Telegraph brags about copper mates, another son 'Mall' works for council.

They are 'country bumpkins' 'rednecks' who did the nuclear family thing.

They've had periods of aggression for a decade and i have just smiled and ignored it. Most people find it strange because they behave like that to get a response. However i'm putting this down to arrogance.

As soon as the transient QLD number plates left their rental for good...it all stopped, but we had had enough.

One night I went outside, just a sixth sense kind of thing and stood in the dark for a few minutes.

Nekminit a mobile phone lights up from under the tree just beside the fence.

I shit myself.

Scooted out to the car, drove into the park on high beams but the prick had gone.

I don't know what I would have done had he been there come to think of it.
