A shame since he was good on the England tourMight be time to give Ollie Peake a run, Singh has struggled.

Didnt realise Ollie Peake has already been named in this side. Bit harsh on Aitken who was brilliant with the gloves and didn't get a chance to bat last match.A shame since he was good on the England tour
Announcing himself.100 to Weibgen, what a knock!
Their spinning group has been pretty good, pace attack looks just okayAnnouncing himself.
England's bowling hasn't been that impressive though.
Pitch isn’t a road. Should be enough.Probably 30 or so short than what we were looking at making before the spinners tied a few of the boys down in the middle
Yeh, I posted that before Macmillan's late blitz, still think they were tied down more than we would have hoped through the middle overs. Was looking like 280+ at one point.Pitch isn’t a road. Should be enough.
Our quicker scorers got themselves out cheaply.Yeh, I posted that before Macmillan's late blitz, still think they were tied down more than we would have hoped through the middle overs. Was looking like 280+ at one point.
Hicks's fault really, went for it and pulled out and completely put the fielder off. Hicks is a pretty poor keeper compared to what I have seen of Aitken, might end up costing up later in the tournament.Dropped in slips. Poor.
Edit: Vidler follows up that disappointing situation with a quick out swinging lbw.
Hicks could make this side as a bat only. I’d drop Singh.Hicks's fault really, went for it and pulled out and completely put the fielder off. Hicks is a pretty poor keeper compared to what I have seen of Aitken, might end up costing up later in the tournament.
I imagine Qld will give him a rookie contract next season, get him working with Bichel on a regular basis and work a bit on his patience/discipline and he could be a star. Tends to go back of a length pretty quickly rather than keeping it up in the right areas longer. Does have a great short ball though, so I can understand why he gets drawn to bowl it.Vidler is Dale Steyn reincarnated
He’s a young quick. Normal to be learning these things.I imagine Qld will give him a rookie contract next season, get him working with Bichel on a regular basis and work a bit on his patience/discipline and he could be a star. Just has all the tools. Once he learns consistency he will be an Australian player.Vidler has 4 now
He looks capable of playing state cricket immediately post the champs. Players who swing the ball at that pace are worth their weight in gold.I imagine Qld will give him a rookie contract next season, get him working with Bichel on a regular basis and work a bit on his patience/discipline and he could be a star.
