Mate, I guess it's like not giving Crawley 10/10 for that big 100 he scored during the Ashes...looked dodgy AF for most of it....
When I woke up the next day and people were calling it one of the all-time great innings I was a little bemused... I saw his first 100 and thought it was one of the luckiest tons I'd ever seen so assumed the next 80odd must have been some of the best batsmanship you'd see.

Just because it was a big score doesn't necessarily mean it's one of the great knocks... as you say, it certainly wasn't 10/10 aside from the total

In the end that's all that matters, the scorebook doesn't show how it happened, but it certainly was incredibly lucky.

Lots of rain in SA last night. Couldn't finish the match. Spicy pitch by the looks of things. Was struggling to chase down 171. Anderson the standout with the ball with 4 wickets. Dixon run out for a diamond

No SAussie players! Good to see one from Tassie tho, Aidan O'Connor a Tigers rookie this season. Is only 17. Was not all that impressed with Straker against the Poms, Reynolds and Vernon (WA) performed better.

Dixon looks like a very classy player.

There was a fair amount of swing there and that pitch didn't look the easiest to bat on imo, it didn't exactly look to be coming onto the bat purely for either side.

In saying that I only watched the highlights so I could be completely wrong. Just based on that vid it didn't look like a batters day out there.

Fair bit of sideways movement combined with a strange tennis ball type bounce that was a little uneven at times. Weibgen was the only one from either side that appeared untroubled in his innings.
