cudgie by 5 points hey????? hmmm how about 101 points!! todays game just goes to prove that you NEED to appoint a coach from albury/wodonga that can ACTUALLY recruit players instead of appointing a coach from the hills that does not know anyone....cudgewa got r*ped in the seniors and there 2nds had to forfeit due to the senior coach being unable to recruit a shit out of a toilet...the end result is the seniors had to take 6 of the 2nds players which led to the captain of the cudgie 2nds leaving the club and no doubt there will be a few to follow as there are a lot of unhappy players at that club...

I must say that the umpiring in the feds v walwa game seemed interesting from the sidelines. Could anyone who played/observed in the game offer their thoughts?

Intresting, HOW????? The only thing I noticed was one umpire doing a hell of alot of running and the other not moving much at all. Or interesting in the fact that big Fred Attree is running round with a whistle in his mouth. But did hear that a certain Walwa runner gave him a mouth full after the game. WTF They won. And from what I'v heard that bloke liked to go the punch in his day (all be it young kids)

when a fight (if u can call it that) breaks out and about 20 players are involved, i dont see how 3 players can be sent off

Yeah I have to agree, yes i think that 1 feds guy should of been sent off as well as the walwa bloke but not 2 feds guys and to go with it the walwa kid should be suspended for at least 6 weeks as what i saw was the worst thing i have seen on any football ground in a long time

firstly well done maxi and his boys.maybe some coaches should take a leaf out of his book.he does the hard yeards all the time and is finally getting rewarded.keep it up maxi and hopefully you have a great season.

to the blue boys its a 2 way street.but i do agree that the 2's is always needed at any club.if the 1's are short yes they should fill the spots needed but to take six players is a bit steep.i feel for the players who traveled and then didnt play because the 1's were short.i think the blues could be in for a long season after a great build up.in any team you must recuirt any level of players so that the club does have numbers.going back to the rift between 1's and 2's if you dont like the club you are at for any reason you can leave any time.but if you keep going back you would hope you would get rewarded by the club???? yes the blues 2's have a lot of mates playing who have been up there along time and it has shown through the coaches they have had over the past 6 years.just wondering who the captain is this year and will he go BB saints

so what happened at the feds v walwa game??? i bet feds get let off due to the league loving corryong based clubs.

In the feds v walwa game there was a two on one fight with the walwa guy being the one but then after a few came in it went to the ground and one of the walwa co-captains stood on another guys head.

Maybe it would be best for the 2's and the senior coaching staff to get together and sort out their issues at a meeting rather than a Big Footy forum. The chances of him going to BB Saints are very, very remote and he is more likely to playing at Bullioh or Chiltern.:)

Well guys did not go an watch my old club play [cudgie] instead took the long trip over to tumba wasn't much of a game but he does have them firing. They should of kicked 40gls they cop afew injuries mite be without the Brook boys only one played on the weekend should be a good game next week against Bullioh.
Heard what happen at cudgie only they can fix it.
Sounds like B/W Feds game got out of control famous roo do you think B/W will take action against their own player or should they? Corryong did it afew years ago to one of their players 6 week off plus what the league gave him.
How many locals are playing for B/W?

There's nothing wrong with a little bit of
'how do u do', and a lil nudge here and there but to stand on another players head, is NOT on. Such a dog act!!!!!

They SHOULD do something but they prob won't . I think there is 3 locals in the 1sts but most of the young blokes are from there but have moved into town for work so im not sure if they can be classified as locals or not.

They SHOULD do something but they prob won't cause his father and grandfather are both life members of the club, plus they wanted him to come back up this year. Yeah i can remember corryong doing that - was a huge decision to internally suspend a key player but looked good for the club.

If its true about stomping on a bloke's head thats very ordinary - its not tough at all to do something like that. who was it?

Famous Roo if the kids live in town but come from there i still class them as locals it's a shame there's not more. What will happen when Cousto returns to Albury? And as for the father an grandfather they should be wanting the club to take actoin life members or not.No one player is bigger than the team also if he is a co-captain take that off him they must set the example on an off the field.

Hayes copped 14 weeks. Not enough time for the crime in my opinion.:thumbsdown:

So Hayes from Corryong gets 14 weeks but what has happened to the Walwa player?
Can we put a name to him? Don't get much news about the UM League in Perth.

Anyway the footy is on this week so lets hope its all good and clean.

My tips.
1sts
Bullioh by 37 points over an improved Tumba
Walwa by 17 goals over corryong
In the close game of the round Cudgewa by 7 points over Feds

2nds
Bullioh by 56 points
Walwa by 18 goals
Cudgewa by 67 points

i dont have a problem naming him. it was kiel hunt and i think it was the only kick he got all day. shit player and a shit bloke

Who was on the receiving end of his boot?? And hows he fairing?? The club has lost my support! What did Matty Hayes get a slap on the wrist for?

One of my good mates from Cudgy 2's who is a Wodonga based player has informed me that the players are having a vote of whether they will all put in clearances to Corryong and effectively take their team to the Demons. Looks like there will be even more heartache for Cudgy this early in the season, apparently relationships with the players and committee are at breaking point with their 2's coach and their captain threatening to leave the club after last weekends debacle.:(:(:(

Against the odds, a win by Tumbarumba this week by 15pts. I'd say by the third quarter Bullioh looked to have the win but Tumba came back in the fourth. Great umpiring too. Don't under estimate Tumbarumba, they're playing agressive (but fair) football.
