One of the rookies recruited by the Vamps, projectv went on to play a single season in the Sweet FA where he became a cult hero of sorts. Following the collapse of the bid, he joined the Swamprats. He played all 17 games before retiring at the end of the season. Still active on BigFooty, a return to Qooty may not be off the cards.


raskolnikov

Recruited to the league in Season 18 by the Furies, raskolnikov played a single season before a hiatus from the league. This hiatus was ended when he was recruited as a returning player for the vamps. He didn’t actually rejoin the league though when the bid failed, spending a further two seasons out before signing with the Phoenix. He’s a bit part player for the Phoenix now, slowly inching closer to a century of games.


RPCB

RPCB was yet another rookie recruited from the association football board. And yet again, he’s another example of the success of this strategy. While he didn’t immediately rejoin the Sweet FA following the collapse of the bid, he would return in S32, this time with the Swamprats. In 4 seasons in the league, he’s clocked up a half tonne of games and shows no sign of slowing down.​

Yep, I'm writing about myself, deal with it. I joined the bid as one of the experienced posters. Debatable, I know. I joined the league in S25 with the Wonders before switching to the Rats the following season where I won two flags. I was one of the first on board with the bid and tasked with helping with the recruiting drive. Following its failure, I spent another 3 seasons with the Rats before moving to the Royals.


Supersuns

Supersuns has made a big impact in just a few seasons in the Sweet FA. Another one of the Vampire rookie class, he stuck around in the league. In season 30 he joined the Roys and was a big hit straight away. He established himself as a very solid poster, earning an All SFA nomination in S31. He made the switch to the Bears where he still plays as he edges towards his 100th game. Supersuns surely is a future captain.

The Sweet FA’s- nay, BigFooty’s biggest avocado fan, T2B_ joined the league as part of the Vampire’s bid. They joined the Dragons after the bid collapsed and established themself very quickly in the league. They won a flag in season 32 and participated in the Sweet FA’s longest ever match thread. They’re now just 3 games away from their 100th game and also will likely be in the frame for captaincy honours in the next few seasons. ​

Anti Septic

Anti Septic joined BigFooty in 2013, posting a mere 6 times before the turn of the decade. Their interest in the site seems to be reinvigorated by the Chess Club, a Chipmunk led initiative. They posted on the Sweet FA board just once, in the expansion exhibition game yet never made it onto a Sweet FA list. They’re still active on BigFooty and a Qooty career isn’t out of the question, get onto it captains, you may have the next tony on your hands.

TheDarkDwarf

TheDarkDwarf went into the Vampires bid with a flag already to his name despite only having spent a single season in the league with the Demons in S26. Perhaps not an established poster, but still an asset to have on the side of the bid. He continued his absence from the league following the Vampires proposal not getting passed. In S32, he joined the Swamprats, like many a former Vamp and remains there today.


VandoHawk

Another Vampire rookie, another current Dragons poster. VandoHawk was recruited off the Hawks board as part of the e-AFL tournament in 2020. He joined the Dragons at the start of S30 following the downfall of the Vampires bid where he went on to win the flag in S32. He’s still on the list as of S35 and is a season or so away from his 100th game.​
