It's not in the team's benefit to create circumstances that lead to a driver getting a penalty, before the race has even started. It was a mistake, but I don't think it signals a lack of effort.

It was the front right on ALB car, could see it as plain as day haha the tyre gun guy went to go again but ALB had already started pulling away

Yeah not great for the viewer. McLaren is heaps quicker and even with drs can't pass. Looks like only overtaking will be with pit stops

Yep, as with a lot of the classic tracks, modern cars are just too damn wide these days

Lack of DRS is making overtaking too hard. They got rid of one of the DRS zones for some reason which is idiotic on a track notoriously difficult to overtake on.

This track would be alright if they restore it back to its classic layout. Safety standards are much better now.
