1. Work hard with Caminiti & Schoenmaker over the pre-season with Key-back craft. And there is Van Es to return.& develop.

2. Key Forward line of Keeler, Marshall & Sharman. Caminiti & Keeler could rotate when needed.

3. Time for Heath to take the Ruck mantle, Marshall rotating with him.

4. Get comp band 1 for Battle & 1st round pick for King. Therefore get the best of two mids in the draft.

5. Watching today's (Port) game, we definately need a Kane Farrell

Accept the list needs around a 50% cull. We have too many inconsistent players and I’m not talking about the kids.
Guys like Clark, Dow, Ross are not taking us anywhere. Yes we need some experience but we can’t keep them all. I’d get rid of a couple and have Steele and Windy as the main stays in the middle despite how poor we were today. Get Pou back in the team as soon as he is ready. Get games into Garcia and get a look at Hall.

I think the coaching staff need an overhaul as well, it's pretty clear that Harvey and Goddard aren't up to scratch. If we get the right people into the right spots and build a young group that looks to be on the up the momentum will eventually build.

It sounds like Battle is gone, Membrey, Ross are out. Paton and Dougal on the trade table. Crouch and Hayes probably medical retirements. A few of the fringe young guys might be in trouble too. Think we are looking at going backward next year. We are going to be very young and our only good line is going to be decimated.

Agree with everything except Smith and Reid. We probably need to chase an elite inside mid. Reid is a waste of time. He's not coming to a bottom side and Smith is too outside. Probably draft mids and chase some like Brodie, Parker, Macrae types for a bridge until they come on.

I'd see if you could do something like get Macrae and Caleb Daniel and take over their contracts for minimal outlay. Pretty sure they gave them long contracts and aren't getting games.

Rory Atkins, Charlie Lazzaro, Fin Macrae. Even Joel Trudgeon. He's never got a go but looks good as a big inside mid to me. I'd seriously get Goober in on the list and get him fit. He's a step above VFL.

We as a club and supporters need to get over the idea that the AFL is a list simulation competition.

It’s not.

We need to start with coaching and gameplan and move on from there.

Use Hawthorn’s recent rebuild as a template. Their list is not good. Midfield? Built around a mid season draft pick.

If Ross EVER delegates the gameplan to his assistants again like he didn’t when he got here? **** him off. What a waste of money. Paying millions for a bloke that doesn’t have the skillset to formulate a gameplan to compete in the modern game.

Build the team around fundamentals of a gameplan based on skill. Develop the players based on proper coaching, not the hodgepodge of old boys that Ross has wheeled out.

Go for the absolute best in class when it comes to player development in the sport, or even other sports. If Ross stays, imperative you get someone like Don Pyke in around him.

DO NOT LET ROSS HIRE ANY MORE FOOTBALL PEOPLE!!!

The above is the key. We’ve gone all in on Ross, our President is in rapture with him. He can do no wrong.

But his methods for modern sport are out of date. He WILL fail. It’s a certainty, especially with yes men around him.

Bring in someone that knows their shit and will stand up to him? If he complains? Let him walk and bring in a young Mitchell like coach.

It’s a ****ing mess because the President has let Ross ride roughshod over our whole club.

This has to stop now, as, if he’s allowed to rebuild this list with his prehistoric methods, we are doomed.

And for God’s sake, stop listening to Ross and the Presidents press conferences and articles. Pure propaganda and deflection as they are feeling the heat.

If you’re a member, write to the club. Demand a more modern set-up tactically. Don’t let them fob you off with mythical “standards” Ross has brought in.

Our “standards” are on display every week when we can’t kick more than 8 goals and comically miss targets.

We need to keep getting in good moneyball trades and then hope like hell we nail the draft.

The list is a real mess at the moment. Look at our midfield numbers today. Look at our forward line. It's concerning.
