The worst presenter on SEN- Mark Allen and then the rest?

I'd like to vote for "Ben from Hillside" for the worst person who thinks he's a presenter on SEN. Due to a bit of temporary insomnia last night I whacked on the radio to listen to a bit of the late night show. During the show with Darren Parkin (who is actually quite good), a fella from out west called in to give a wrap up of the Olympics.
Has anyone heard this cat before ? He talks at about 300 miles an hour without pausing (probably so the announcer hasn't got a chance to cut him off) and actually seems to think that he is a reporter with the station. I know that late night radio can attract it's fair share of odd ones, but this guy takes the cake for mine. Does he do a wrap up of the footy too. THAT I would love to hear ! He could do a run down of the whole year in 30 seconds !!!!

If it's the guy I think you mean he's normally going on about the netball. I'm often up with my young son and these reports successfully put us both to sleep.

Was in the car on Saturday night and heard a Gladiators of Sport classic. Whichever one of those senile gits is a St. Kilda fan was having an argument with somebody about the Saints list - it was like two demented geriatrics shouting at each other for five minutes and not making an ounce of sense.

I was with you right up until there. The last thing radio needs is that knob back on doing his bogan routine and delivering single entendres.
MG has improved quite a bit since Billy left. Enjoy it a lot more now.

Yes we know you're in Vancouver and have to talk it up a little.
But FFS, every Australian Olympian will be quickly forgotten about as soon as the whole thing is over. They do not have the appeal of a combination Roger Federer/Tiger Woods as you seem to think they will. Just get a little perspective.
They are rating horribly on Ch 9 and the lack of interest was such on Foxtel that they were forced to start giving subscriptions away.
Put a lid on it as you are getting very Matt Thompson'ish.

My great knock on SEN's presenters are their lack of knowledge on topics foreign to them or maybe to put it better, their lack of interest in researching sports foreign to them. They don't have to love all sports but if they're working at a 24 hour sports station, it'd be good to at least be interested in sports other than what they've known all their life.
I heard Shabecs this morning talk about Jacqui Cooper being at her 5th Winter Olympics, the most by any male or female athlete from Aus. Speed skater Colin Coates has been to 6, whilst i wouldn't expect him to know this already, a bit of research would've informed him of this fact
