Society & Culture Theories you and your mates have developed - Part 2

Something i've been pondering of late:

The more clever(won't use the word intelligent because it can be measured in numerous ways) you are the more likely you are to develop addictions. Same applies to laziness, if you are very smart or clever you can also become quite lazy/complacent.

The addiction theory i think applies to a very smart person because they need constant mental stimulation be that through drugs, alcohol, music etc. People who are clever tend to immerse themselves in something and develop a great passion for it as opposed to someone of lesser intellect, the person of lesser intellect will quite happily meander through life not being particularly stimulated or interested anything.

The laziness theory is quite simple i think. People who are very clever can find the most efficient ways of doing things very quickly, once this is established they don't have to work as hard, repeat this a few times and they will become reliant on this trait thus not work as hard. This can breed complacency which can sometimes trigger a downfall, a vicious cycle of you will

I agree with this also boredom

if i'm out and i need to crap, as i get closer to get home, the need to crap gets exponentially higher to the point where i'd almost crap myself if i stayed out much longer.... but i know if i wasn't heading home or i was further away from home this wouldn't happen as it always happens in the last five or so minutes so it's just too coincidental.

am i the only one this happens too?? any theories?? is a mental thing where my brain is thinking it's almost time to let loose...

Was talkin about this the other day as it happens to me everyday. I reckon cause im putting so much into holding it in that when im nearly home my body starts loosening up cause it knows its nearly show time. Definately subconsious. And the whole time im thinking "please dont let anybody be on the toilet, please dont let anybody be on the toilet" haha

Once you haven't eaten for a very long time and gotten past the point where you're so hungry it hurts, but not to the point where you feel faint... when you finally do eat, you don't even feel like eating.

Yes I know what sounded crap, but read it slowly.

Adam Goodes and Ian Thorpe are in a relationship... sounds rediculous but the more you think about it the more you believe it .
Wow yeah, took his mum to the Brownlow, and isn't in a relationship at 31 when he would be loaded you would think.

Young guys and teenagers don't realise the quality of the poon around them. (I could also put this in the 'Things that sh!t me' thread) Absolute quality and relatively untouched.

Also, women are becoming much more liberal with sex and at a much younger age.

Another theory is that as people get older that think things were better then they really were (Hey, Hey, It's Saturday! prime example)

So true. I must have had a different grading system when I was younger. I didn't realise it at the time, but most women under the age of 25 are hot. They could dress better to show this, sometimes it's hard to realise they are hot under the layers of pointless make-up and stupid clothes. Women of my own age group dress better.

Cos they haven't developed enough confidence like older men have to take advantage.

Probably true of life experiences/quality of life experiences that are based on memory and are subjective.

There are plenty of TV shows I watch that were on as a kid that I recoil in horror at; memory isn't required. Hey Hey is one, Kingswood Country another. I'm sure there are plenty more.

My mate has this theory called the "Rachel Rule" - i.e. every single girl called Rachel is a smokin hot babe. I'm not convinced, I think the name is Chelsea.

Looting is perfectly fine during natural disasters such as qld or vic floods as long as its from a large company which would have insurance coverage.
Also if something had been there for longer than 2 days it could be counted as abandoned

Average girls get better looking the longer you know them... I think it's the inside beauty shit or whatever...

lol homo?

J/K!

I think this is true i have a few girl friends that other pople think are just average, but i think they hot because they are top chicks and know how to have a wicked time!

this x2,
I wan't overly attracted to my girlfriend when I first started dating her but the more I hung out with her and fornicated her the hotter she became to me!!
Plus I liked her nice rack

If you eat an apple when you're hungover, it really throws people off the scent.

(Trust me on this one- Jimeon made a joke about being hungover and eating the most greasy fatty food, no one ever says "Man, I'm gonna murder an apple")
