With WWE now on Netflix, I've started re-watching Mad Men. The first time I watched it 10 years ago, I was watching it with a moron. It's much better this time around.

It's so curious to me though, that one of the central themes of this show is the sexism of the 60s. I always thought the main characters of this show were actually the women, not Don Draper. They depict a friggen rape scene in the show.

But it's the depiction of blackface that saw a warning tile at the start of the show and an explanation that Netflix decided to keep the episode in its entirety to present the historical context. Bizarre.

Had to catch up with my ex to go over a couple of things yesterday. Ended up meeting her guy for the first time and they made a show of it! Turned up with my kids in his BMW convertible with the roof down. No reason for them to be there. And it was 8 degrees out. Lol.

But apparently there's no such thing as toxic femininity.

Sis is having a midlife crisis
Honestly, if that happened months ok it would have really stressed me out and I would have had anxiety for a bit. It was nice that it didn't really phase me at all. I figured she'd do something like that. And the longer I go without meeting the guy the weirder it would be. Happy that's done.

Makes total sense. It’s laughable that they felt the need to try and engage you in a dick measuring contest.

Whilst a complete outside view, from reading your posts, especially this one, their relationship isn't going to last.

I remember Shannon Byrne's tweet a while back when playing country footy.

Foll Holland's .Brynes. Hiscock.

Then there was the cricket commentary - "The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willey".

There was the game between Bristol City and Derby County. Both having poor seasons. The respective managers were Alan Dicks and Arthur Cox. Towards the end of a tedious 0-0 draw the home fans started a chant of “Dicks out” which was answered by the away fans by a chant of “Cox out”.
