Was talking to a workmate who is my age yesterday (48), I was complaining because two of my 30 year old staff went home early as they were hot , he said well we are the older generation now, the last of the hard workers.

I started high school around the same time and my high school no longer exists, it got shut down later on due to lack of numbers.

The ultimate high school rebellion movie and theme song is from 1985, they were innocent times, no school shootings back then.

38 years since I started high school. Mine also no longer exists - it was absorbed into one of the new Super Schools (I think it became Roma Mitchell Secondary College - and even that happened 14 years ago).
