Nirvana's MTV Unplugged concert was 30 years ago today.

Nirvana's MTV Unplugged album was released 30 years ago today but the concert was performed about a year earlier in 1993.

A great concert and album though, I've listened to it more than Nirvana's plugged in rock albums

That concert had an ethereal feel to it, it was like Kurt Cobain was playing at his own future funeral

That Kaley Cuoco's first appearance in her best known role as Penny in 'The Big Bang Theory' in September 2007 (this following other roles in 8 Simple Rules, Charmed, and appearances in other TV shows and movies) is now closer in time to her first ever role as an unknown child actress aged 6 in the movie 'Quicksand - No Escape' in March 1992 than to the present day.

At some time next year her TBBT co-star Johnny Galecki's debut as Leonard will be closer in time to his role as Rusty Griswold in 1989's 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' than to the present day.

Butch drummer from garage was the producer on their debut album.

Billy also dated courtney... briefly.

Yeah Butch Vig. I was 12 when Nevermind exploded so was a Nirvana nuffie in the 90s. Still am i guess. At some point in time that became as sad as liking Nickleback to whipper snappers these days. :tearsofjoy:

Have you not seen how many kids are rocking Nirvana T-shirts these days (unable to detect the irony in buying mass-produced merchandise to make soulless corporations richer).

Very biased and showing how out of touch i am but 90s/early 2000s was endless amounts of music i loved. Ive genuinely tries to get with he times and embrace today's artists and sounds but just cant do it
I like a wide ish range of music .
Apart from any new band apart from Rufus du sol Electronic band nothing super new.

British India, cog, karnivoll, children collide. All had stuff I liked .

Agree bands and music not the same ..

Yeah i got my 8yo one to be one of those flog Dads but he actually likes some of there stuff now and rocks the t shirt.
I like the plain Nirvana smiley face shirt, hell, my wife got my daughter one for when she sings in the school band. But I saw someone rocking a full face Kurt Cobain shirt and thought 'man, he would hate the fact he's become a face of consumerism'.

I've seen a few of them around .
Hope the mums and dad make them listen to the music.
Not use the tee shirt as fashion pieces

My best mate's kids both had Grateful Dead infant wear and Jerry's kids album courtesy of yours truly.
