Nirvana's MTV Unplugged album was released 30 years ago today but the concert was performed about a year earlier in 1993.
A great concert and album though, I've listened to it more than Nirvana's plugged in rock albums
That concert had an ethereal feel to it, it was like Kurt Cobain was playing at his own future funeral
Great album to listen to on a chill afternoon in the background
Yeah Butch Vig. I was 12 when Nevermind exploded so was a Nirvana nuffie in the 90s. Still am i guess. At some point in time that became as sad as liking Nickleback to whipper snappers these days.Butch drummer from garage was the producer on their debut album.

I like the plain Nirvana smiley face shirt, hell, my wife got my daughter one for when she sings in the school band. But I saw someone rocking a full face Kurt Cobain shirt and thought 'man, he would hate the fact he's become a face of consumerism'.Yeah i got my 8yo one to be one of those flog Dads but he actually likes some of there stuff now and rocks the t shirt.
