If ever there was an industry setup to just leech its that oneDear real estate agents.
Stop with the ads with no prices!
Please do “offers over” or a price range.
If it says contact agent, i skip
We have had disrupters come with hotels (air bnb) and taxis (uber) - for crying out loud we need a disrupter to come for the real estate industry!
You guys are not celebrities. We don’t want to see your faces and names in lights. Just tell us the price that will get the sale done.
Shits me

YouTube algorithms and their dumb ads.
Yeh I know I'm over 40 now so I'm "old" but STOP recommending those cringe nostalgia videos about "90s kids will only understand".
And also, no I do not want to learn how to do a chair workout or sign up to Temu.
This could be in the "Things that make you old" thread too I guess.

CorrectThe laws are very different from state to state. In Victoria they have “contact agent”, but they are always required to provide a “statement of information” that discloses the asking price if a private sale or indicative price range if an auction. You will usually see a link to it once you scroll down to the bottom of the listing on sites like Domain. At least in Queensland you don’t have to deal with underquoting like you do in Victoria, so if it’s an auction, a good rule of thumb would be to add 10% to the upper range.
DunnoCorrect
10% over the upper range is a good guide to actual price
Take it in Qld they don't have this requirement?
Yep no guide makes it difficultDunno
Here is the most recently added property in an area i may buy in.
Not necessarily this house or type of house
But donuts as to a guide
Is that the site with low high and mid estimates and a confidence guide?it says estimated price is 1,8 million
thats a rough guide?
Thats just suburb median i thinkits in the link you posted
i just scrolled down
I use the YouTube app on my phone. You don't use an advertisement blocker in your browser???
Good intro to the new employer lol.
Reading between the lines, it sounds like a) there will inevitably be significant issues with payroll activities (i.e. things that need urgent attention); and b) there will be so many open cases at a given time, that charging you for the equivalent of an express lane is considered a reasonably attractive feature.
Questions for me on this option is: what happens if every single person at the company signs up for priority servicing? And what happens to the poor buggers who refuse to pay approximately $1800-$4000 a year for their payroll team to do their job? How long until their issues are resolved?
No problem with Ad(vertisement)Blocker Ultimate and youtube.Youtube have found a way to annoyingly make adblockers annoying
I have one and they now start the video with an ad that doesnt switch - my solution is to go back to the home page and re-click - which is annoying if they put 5 in a row - click back press click back ugghh
Oh, phone... all bets are off.I use the YouTube app on my phone.
For general web browsing ive got ad blockers well sorted.
