deserved the Gary Ayres Medal but he did get 4 games to poll in compared to Heeneys 3 games. Add that to the countless other inequities such as Pies 17 games at MCG, Sydney COLA and academies, Carlton losing a handful of free kick counts each year and Perth teams flying miles the comp has some glaring integrity issues. So lets post things with more integrity than the AFL comp.

Right and now I'm saying I hope Daicos wins the 2025 Brownlow, Mihocek the 2025 Coleman and Pies the 2025 flag because Black and White is so vintage and gives me warm fuzzy feelings. Now I've said that it must be true and not some bullshit excuse to try and make me feel better that everyone sees through anyway.

The umpire didn't rig it. He told mates about votes so they could bet on it. That was also in a prior year so did not affect the count this year.

Agree the award is a mids medal. In my analysis on Cripps votes posted last week there was 2 games Weitering probably should have outvoted Cripps but other than no real issues. Cripps would have won anyway. And Daicos has the same benefit of it being a mids medal so irrelevant anyway.

Aside from the fact that umpires are not in the best position to judge such an award, and have asked for at least two years to hace access to stats to assist them - which was denied by the AFL - in my analysis Cripps season was not the greatest of all time by a factor of 25%. He earned it, carrying the team on his back the entire year, but 45 points was a joke and all but the most one-eyed Bloosers know it

Ergo the award has no integrity, and I'll say the same thing when Nick wins his first
