Are the people bagging thomas the same ones that have been bagging pendlebury? Realised the pendlebury thing was a loss so youve moved on i see to thomas.

It isn't really bagging so much as stating facts.

He has no opposite foot, no penetration in his natural foot, can't kick over a jam tin as pointed out and more often than not kicks worm burning mongrels.

I'd be getting my media time up too if I was DT because I'm not sure how popular he will be playing in the reserves. Won't be long before the likes of Beams, McCarthy, Caff and Blight all over take him for a spot, although he is a MM favourite.

Players can be on TV and play perfectly good footy. Thomas was doing it early in his career.

His form drop is down to something completely different imo. He is lacking confidence at the moment.

Needs to get it back, potentially he's our best player.

Perhaps that is due to seeing himself in those ad's he has been doing... Get Eddie on to pulling them from the air.

From memory, Thomas seems to come back really invigorated after the mid-season breaks...... maybe going home and seeing the family etc.

Hopefully he'll be back to his best against the Swans next week.

Its an awful ad, not necessarily Thomas' fault, I bet he cringes when he sees it on the box. Surely advertisement producers have advanced in their ideas than this piece of 1970's tripe and can come up with something more in keeping with the sophistication of the audience. Surely!!!

While I understand that it's aimed at children, and that's all good, but does that mean they should scrimp on making it look professional? It looks like someone shot it on their Sony 1990 handycam and edited it in MS Paint. The effects, script and quality of the ad are terrible, really. Without a famous football player in it it would account for nearly nothing!

If, as you say the demographic is aimed at kids, then explain why they play the ad late at night and also have a bunch of young blokes as opposed to kids as the supposed benefactors of Thomas' supposed kicking skills.

It is a crap ad, made and produced poorly. It is embarassing to watch. Even kids today have higher expectations that what they dished up in that ad. I hope they do anyway.

Its got nothing to do with thomo being on tv which is making him play shit, it's the fact that every other AFL player on telle is better than him and is a standout at there respective clubs. He needs to get off telle for a couple of years until he really breaks out then i wouldn't have a problem with him on telle.

Thomas is a good player and he has not done what pendelbury has done............. become a consistent player, i like daisy but he is nowhere as consistant and gather quality possesions as does pendelbury. Pendelbury has a bigger engine and in my mind captain this mighty club at some stage.
