Three children have died and 11 other people have been injured.

A 17yo boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in the stabbing in Southport, a seaside town near Liverpool, Merseyside Police said. The motive was not clear, but police said detectives were not treating the attack as terror-related.

The 17yo boy was later named to counter misinformation. Far-right activists have used the deaths to stoke anger at immigrants and Muslims — though the suspect is not an immigrant, and his religion has not been disclosed.

The riots look to be out of control.

The rioting is a bit ironic considering the perp was a church going Christian who was born and raised in the UK. Reminds me a bit of the BLM rioting a few years back, gives losers and excuse to smash shit up and cause trouble.
