I agree with the above that it hurts supporters who wish to travel interstate. Maybe have it between the 2 Vic sides left in the Finals?

2 finals in Sydney on the same day.... I just can't see a GWS final at Spotless on a Thursday or Friday Night.

Yet again, the AFL have no interest in the opinion of the fans and consumers. But instead will have a Thursday night final again just for their own financial gain.

I cannot understand this Thursday night thing. I'm happy for the game to be played on Thursday, I just don't understand why they only bring it in when there's a reduced number of games over the weekend. The weeks where we have the least amount of clashes, they reduce them by an extra 1. Then when we've got the maximum amount of games, bang, the extra night is gone and we maximise our clashes.

I just watched the Thursday Night Final = last Footy Show episode.

I prefer the Sunday afternoon final. Weather is starting to get good that time of year and a sunny afternoon at the G is pretty special.
