Tickets for first game @AO - Remaining tickets on sale today 26 March

We here players like playing early in the round so they aren't sitting around thinking about the game etc. Port will have 4 extra days of a Showdown week.

I'd probably swap, especially with our injuries but it could go either way as far as weather it will be a negative or a positive.

Look I did think about this, ie the extra break, but given we have over 7 days break till the Showdown I think we are fine. However, if we cop an injury that requires more time to recover in R1 thats when it will bite us in the arse.

If the Power cops a one week injury, they are laughing with the time till the next game.

After tonight's game it just shows that the only way you are going to beat the scum id to have no lapses, run hard and don't drop our concentration and ball handling skills for a minute. Carlton dropped for five minutes in the second term & port got 4 goals in those five minutes, & in the last term Carlton's fitness just wasn't there & they got steamrolled!

We CANNOT afford to get any more injuries against the Cats.

Anyone know when public tickets go on sale for the upcoming home games? I need some for the GWS game. Thanks.

According to Ticketek, tickets go on sale Monday 24th March @ 9am for Members and Tuesday 25th for the public.

The more people there the better, I'm worried how low the crowd will be for this game, as it is on Easter Sunday at lunch time! The worst timeslot for the whole AFL season, hopefully we can get close to 40,000 for the game.

First bunch of games at the Oval will pull decent crowds.

Thanks for the info.

The way GWS played last weekend there might be a few come over and the bandwagon supporters here. Yes, yes I know only 1 game but it would get them up and about!

According to the media and the boys on the Port board, there will be about 500 tickets released tomorrow morning for the Showdown, these must be the 11 game memberships that they couldn’t sell. It will be good to get a few more Crows supporters there.

Had we beaten the Cats guaranteed that Crows fans would take up this offer.

I get the feeling that more Port supporters will be buying tickets.

"Fewer than 500 tickets remain to Adelaide’s first home game at Adelaide Oval against Sydney Swans on Saturday, April 5."

I guess for now we can say its selling quicker than the Showdown... (until tomorrow when the Showdown sells out in a few minutes)

Had we won in W1, guaranteed it would sell out tomorrow. Should be interesting if any tickets remain.

Could be more than that. The "less than 500" figure we're going by are from the club's own allocation, it's also possible that extra daily tickets from corporate and stadium allocations will also become available tomorrow.

Will be good to see you guys snap them up!

Anybody else's print at home tickets look like this? Obviously I have cropped out the barcode but apart from that it's blank. Am I supposed to memorise my seats in a new stadium? Fill it in myself maybe? What if they want to check the ticket when going to my seat?
