Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

pfft id rather keep him than accept at very late pick for him

however if he wants to go then we should facilitate the trade and wish the best for him

still think he has some value for us despite his issues and could be a very effective sub as he showed late in the season

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

I agree he's probably worth more than a 'late draft pick' - but at the moment he's a fringe player, and doesn't seem to be really firing at Richmond. It's hard to see him turning it around - with us.

Maybe best to cut our losses and free up another spot on the list and try and get lucky late in the draft or with a rookie.

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

I agree with this. I still think he has the ability to play well, what's the point in getting a 'very late pick'?

Morton may attract a higher than expected pick, as he's suitable to SCG.

What clubs want & get are two separate things. Didn't Adealaide want our compo for Maric:eek:

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

Get it done... no matter what cost.

Love Mitch, but it's time to wish him well and send him on his way.

No more passengers at Tigerland.

We're on a path to success, and I now feel we need to move these inconsistent flashy players on.

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

Capt Blood, surely you are not comparing Mitch Clark , with Morton?

Clubs dont just trade for the sake of it?

Not comparing in like for like, but, they wanted Clarke as a forward, i was just putting it out there as Mitch is obviously a forward that's all. More of a needs thing??

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

Morton has no value at all, he'll be delisted if he's not traded.

If you dont have those guys who can kick goals when the ball hits the ground then you can really struggle to kick goals. Hope we dont find ourselves deficient in that area of the next couple of years. Jake has been figured out.

Damien needs to make hard decisions but a bit dissapointed that he felt that he was not worth perservering with.

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

west coast, wallace & Hardwick have had issues with Mitch - sydney are welcome to him and I hope he turns his life around - time to move on.

Re: Tigers' Morton may join Sydney

Waste of talent poor Mitch, would love him to have knuckled down and done the little things better, kind of hope he stays and delivers.
