The benefit was that Tippett extended his contract and the intention was that the 3rd party underwriting and the separate trade clause be hidden from the AFL.
That statement is now not being talked about as fact .....the topic for today is the $30K sponsorship transfer by Balfours ......only came to light today

So was it in the letter or not ???

I had heard them mention 300K, but also some used the wording "up to" which I'm guessing means they are using the 100K a season as how much they could have paid him under the table each year with no concrete proof yet on how much it was.

we're about to pee it up against a wall with lawyers fees.

couldnt do it without you.

friends for life, love ST.

My understanding, admittedly only from The Age, is that AFC agreed to underwrite up to $100k pa if Tippett incorporated could not achieve that from unrelated 3rd parties.
It now appears that AFC arranged a 3rd party payment (from Balfours) for $30k pa in an effort to help him reach the $100k pa target.

So there appears to be 2 issues;
1 AFC allegedly breached AFL rules/regulations by agreeing to underwrite payments, wrote such an agreement outside of the contract lodged with the AFL and may have actually put it in writing to Tippett inc that such underwriting should not be disclosed to the AFL and
2 AFC allegedly arranged a 3rd party deal for Tippett with Balfours and did not disclose this to the AFL. Another breach of AFL's rules and regulations.

is there any way we can pin this on Rendell?
Rendell or Bernie Vince.

Bernie missed curfew by 10 minutes once and we suspended him for a week.

Now, this is a billion times worse. So that means Trigg can't hold any role at the club until the year 2012000000
