What are you saying? The "old-old" jumper is to be a special release ala a Jean Shrimpton mini for this this years Spring Carnival?Lions Roar have called "news coming" re: jumper on twitter...
Yes true TBD nothing like a referendum on the jumper to confuse the election but in saying that you would think the EGM would be happening first? To be fair to Angus (ugh) he did mention this poll was going to happen before the challenge even occurred.

Until all the details are released I am sure this will be a vote on the jumper that won't be coming in till the 2015 season.
Dear Members
In recent months, the Club has received feedback from Members regarding the current guernsey, which has been in place since the end of 2009.
As you’re aware, the Club committed, via its Members Charter implemented in 2011, that it would seek to consult with its membership base regarding potential major changes to its guernsey.
As always, the Club wants to know what you think and will ask the following question as part of its annual survey of Members to be distributed later this month:
·Do you believe the Lions’ guernsey should change design? YES / NO
The survey will be sent to ALL Lions Members via email in the week commencing September 16.
Members are urged to complete the entire survey – not just the question relating to the guernsey, as the survey software requires it for responses to be considered valid.
Members will have until Friday, 4 October, 2013 to complete the survey. Results relating to the guernsey will be published on lions.com.au in October.
The Club would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this survey.
Go Lions.

I would like to think that as a club with two support bases we'd could design that was developed in honour of both victorian and queensland supporter spirit (whilst still remembering our heritage at the same time).
I actually like how thats been worded.
I'm going to get shot for saying this but I think it may be a great opportunity for a new jumper all together. As the current jumper is a half-arsed abomination and the old jumper design may carry too much fitzroy pride with it.
Plenty of maroon, got the Fitzroy yoke and Lion and we won three premierships in it!

With all the goings on we might as well start from a clean slate and unite the both fans bases with a new design we could all embrace.
