The Age/Bris Times Poll - If we were using the "Do you want to change the jumper?" (Yes/No) method, then its only 4% who would vote no. You're voting yes if you want the traditional or a new design.

And currently that is 88% plus 8% = 96%.

Don't know how to feel about this.

Great work by the Lions Roar to get us to the point of a survey, fantastic work.

But considering the Boards inability to count letters six months ago, coupled with the fact this is announced just a few weeks after the board has been challenged, I wont be showing any emotion of excitement about this until a group of players are standing in front of a media crew showing a replica of the 2001 jumper which is going to be worn for all home games the following year.

Why can't we have the jersey that's half dark blue, half maroon. I think it's the heritage one or something. That one looks awesome

[quote="..ps....are ALL members able to vote on this, regardless of type of membership??[/quote]

Yes, from memory the email explains that ALL members will get a say

Sorry for the intrusion...

Voted via the Hun for the feared and respected jumper of the old days.

Never understood why such a strong jumper would be bastardised.

Have a real soft spot for your Club, and the way Fitzroy has been respected (until old Paddlepop popped up). My fave non Hawthorn Footy moment is being at that 2001 GF, seeing the tears in the eyes of old Fitzroy warriors, and seeing Hird on his hands and knees......

Hope it works your way.....

Pathetic attempt by the chairman to garner support.

Glad to get the opportunity to get the original jumper even if it is a balntant attempt by the ceo for support. We vote for the jumper back and then Vote Angus out!

To be fair, I'm fairly sure the survey was organised prior to the Board split.

Fantastic work by The Lions Roar to keep enough pressure on the club that they agreed to this survey. Well done folks!

Sadly, I am also a little sceptical about the club's motives with this survey and whether they will try to rig the result somehow - how awful to not be able to trust your club. We need to get some "scrutineers" involved!

What happens to all our members who do not have email?

Dunno about the no-email aspect, but I heard the AFL runs/collates the surveys, so it is somewhat removed from the club. Sad that some of us have gotten to the point of not trusting the club to be honest.

Ta Bob, I would feel slightly better about it if the AFL ran the survey (I think). I might ask Malcolm about it on Sunday.

Cannot fathom many poster's suspicion of the question - straight forward yes or no. If the answer is no no further action required. If it is yes then we go to the Age poll scenario. Far more important to get members to vote, IMO.

Natural conclusion to some very very bad decisions and mishandling of events during the last month.

Oh, I completely understand it. Just a sad state of affairs.

Well why wasn't the jumper change to the paddlepop put to the members vote in the 1st place, why were supporters ignored?

Me=converted. You=preaching.
