TNA Impact notes this week:
At the start of the show. Ryan Nemeth called Joe Hendry a mid-carder, so Hendry called Ryan Nemeth a janitor. Then Ryan Nemeth beat Rhino by DQ due to Rhino using a steel chair.

Ace Austin beat Kushida. Post-match Austin said he wants to win the TNA World Title for Chris Bey. Moose came out and said the top title is the X-Division Title, and said Austin in scared for going after Nic Nemeth instead. Santino came out and made the X Division Title match at Genesis.

There was an in ring seg where Josh Alexander said while he's in TNA, he will make sure Mike Santana will never be a top guy. Mike Santana then said he'll beat Alexander and The Northern Armoury next week.

Backstage Leon Slater rejected an approach from Kazarian to be his mentor.

On the ramp Nic Nemeth cut a promo about Genesis, then Ryan Nemeth came out to a lot of heat and he called Joe Hendry a snake. Nic then told Ryan to take it down a notch and he's supposed to be focusing on Genesis and now he's got a tag match next week because of Ryan.

Masha Slamovich, Jordynne Grace and Spitfire beat Rosemary, Tasha Steelz, and Ash and Heather By Elegance in an 8 Knockouts tag in the main event. Post-match Tessa Blanchard attacked Jordynne Grace and chucked her out the building and said "I'm taking my locker-room back."

Next week on Impact:
The Nemeth Brothers vs Joe Hendry and Rhino.
Mike Santana vs Josh Alexander and The Northern Armoury in a Gauntlet match.
3 members of the The System vs Eric Young, Jonathan Gresham and Steve Maclin.
The Rascalz vs The Goodhands.

Added to Genesis:

TNA Impact notes this week:
Eric Young, Steve Maclin and Jonathan Gresham beat Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards and JDC. Post-match The System hurt Gresham's neck when they wrapped his neck around a steel chair and whipped him into the ring post.

Mike Santana beat Josh Alexander and The Northern Armoury via DQ in a Gauntlet match. Santana beat 2 Northern Armoury members, but when Josh Alexander was about to come out for the 3rd match, All 3 of them beat up Santana.

Backstage Raven appeared and suggested to Rosemary that she have a Clockwork Orange match with Masha Slamovich at Genesis.

The Rascalz beat The Good Hands.

Backstage Kaz teased cashing in his title shot if Rhino hit a Gore on Nic Nemeth.

In ring Moose said he's gonna have a new X Division Title design at Genesis, because the current design looks like crap. Andrew Everett came out and said he's tired of Moose disrespecting the X Division. Moose then beat up Everett and gave him a title shot on the spot. Moose then retained the X Division Title vs Andrew Everett.

Jordynne Grace and Tessa Blanchard had a pull apart brawl.

Joe Hendry and Rhino beat Nic and Ryan Nemeth in the main event.

Next week on Impact:
The Hardys vs Sami Callihan and PCO. If Callihan and PCO win they'll be included in the TNA Tag Title match at Genesis.

LOL, come on now! 🤣

They won't be able to compete with the $$ of the oil baron Khan family, but IMO they could absolutely become the #2 if #2 is based off profitability. If they land on USA Network or a strong network, there is every chance their audience grows to something competitive. Don't think they'll hit AEWs viewership without the talent, but no reason they can't get to 75% of their viewership while staying profitable. Given AEW hasn't finished a financial year in the green yet, I don't think that is a far fetched thought.

then they become the competition and WWE will gut them

TNA Impact notes this week:
Leon Slater beat Trent Seven. During the match Slater did a spot where he jumped over the crowd to land on Seven. Post-match Kaz was about to attack Slater, but backed off when Slater turned around and saw him.

Ash and Heather By Elegance celebrated winning the Knockouts Tag Titles, before they've even won them. They made cardboard cutouts with them having the titles around their waist. Spitfire came in and ran them off and then destroyed the cutouts.

Eric Young and Steve Maclin beat First Class. Post-match Brian Myers, and Eddie and Alisha Edwards stood on the ramp.

Josh Alexander cut a promo saying The Northern Armoury ambushing Mike Santana at Prestige Wrestling means Santana won't compete at Genesis. Santana then came out to say the match will still be happening and it will be an I QUIT match. Alexander says Santana belongs at the bottom of the card. Crowd were chanting that Alexander has a "Bald arse head".

Jake Something beat Laredo Kid.

The Hardys beat PCO and Sami Callihan. So PCO and Callihan are not added to the TNA Tag Title match at Genesis. Before the match, the No.23 popped up on the tron again.

Nic Nemeth showed footage to Joe Hendry of JBL attacking Ryan Nemeth to show they were not in cahoots. Apparently when Nic said "JBL" they edited his promo in post and he had to say "John Layfield" instead. Ryan Nemeth came out saying Hendry on cares about himself, Hendry went to attack Ryan, but then Nic superkicked Hendry (defending his brother).

At the end of the show Jordynne Grace beat up Tessa Blanchard.

I reckon AEW's new TV deal will wipe off their debts and they'll be making profits now. Part of it was because they sunk a lot of money in the video game as well.

Personally I think New Japan is No.3. TNA I've got 4th. CMLL have good crowds, but I'm not familiar with their TV ratings and gates.

I would be very surprised if they report a profit this financial year. Booking and not filling stadiums, paying overs for talent and all the while maintaining a very expensive production is a recipe for financial disaster... IF you're not backing things out of your own families pocket.
