I've watched the vision multiple times, the ch7 vision is better but their junk at the bottom blocks some of the vision.

I suspect if it was any other player we wouldn't be claiming eye gouging.

No doubt he puts his hand on or near his face but I don't see any gouging action, I see someone trying to push another guy's face into the ground which he does several times.

They’ll need better evidence than is out there at the moment though. The afl website is the clearest and there’s no spot in it that you could say he’s clearly eye gauged. Definitely push the head down and pulled the hair but no clear fingers pushing straight towards the eye.

If they want to convinct him there’ll need to be better video evidence come out, which I’m sure is out there.

If Bont/the Dogs medical report suggest there was an attempted or successful eye gouge, he's gone. Anyway, he'll be gone regardless because of a number of incidents over the match.

That’s pretty unhelpful for Greene.

For what it’s worth, I haven’t seen a single Dogs poster bemoan the fact GWS were aggressive and targeted Bont. No one is having a go at De Boer.

Greene is a dirty sniper and does this crap every time we play - he attacks players outside the rules when they can’t defend themselves. Bont collecting someone kicking the ball doesn’t come within a million miles of this.

Greene will likely be watching his teammates from the stands for the rest of the year, as he should.

Greene very obviously maliciously goes for the head against a defenseless player. Are the people defending him really ok with this?

No he pulled his hair and roughed him up . Made him eat some grass but if he did eye gouge him he should be gone .
None of the footage has shown evidence of gouging just his hands were in his face .

Unless there is more footage we haven't seen yet he doesn't deserve to be charged with gouging .

Doesn't every charge of gouging get sent to tribinal no matter what ?

Far out you’d think Greene went full Gaff on Bont the way the Dogs fans in this thread are carrying on.

Footage shows Greene wrestling, hair pulling and grabbing Bont’s face. As for actual eye gouging? Far from convinced. Where’s it show him pressing down on his eyes?

The incident isn’t a great look. If the tribunal ends up not viewing it as eye gouging maybe he cops a Baker like suspension for misconduct?

Typical stupid behaviour from Greene though. His coach would be furious.

I agree the footage shown isn’t 100% conclusive which convinces me Christian has seen something we haven’t because he has been charged and sent straight to tribunal.

It’s footy. A contact sport that leads to physical confrontations at times.

If he hasn’t eye gouged then no I’ve got no issues. Not a great look but not worthy of missing weeks for.
