Apologies for making a reasonable post here, but honestly Boyd is the least of our worries. Why?

We're 2nd but have played 3 rubbish teams. Our kicking inside 50 has been dreadful and the forward line dysfunctional. In the last 2 weeks, Stringer has taken 4 marks and kicked 1.2.8 because he keeps looking for cheap goals and apparently has been told off for doing so (sauce = poster on our board). While Boyd has taken 5 marks and kicked 1.3.9 mostly because he spends too much time in the ruck

We've scored on the back of midfielders and McLean (AKA Duckwood Jnr) getting free kicks. Crameri is out for the season, Dickson only just returned to the VFL (82 goals between them last year). Bontempelli can be brilliant but goes missing. The backline has saved us, but now we're down 2 rebounders. And Prudden the messiah has busted his knee. I'm actually concerned we could lose to Brisbane

Great post, but I just wanted to correct you on one thing; Boyd hasn't kicked 1.3 because he spends too much time in the ruck. Its because he's shit.

Stringer looks genuinely confused and is trying too hard. He's lost his natural flair and that is due to either poor coaching to a structure that doesn't suit him or he's putting too much pressure on himself after last season. He's also getting much more attention than ever after a break out year. IMHO it's the structure being imposed on him that has stifled his natural instincts and for his sake I hope the coaching staff recognise this before it's too late.
