So how does he go against actual forwards ?

He was not considered fit for selection at AFL level. He was nursed back from a shoulder injury and therefore under-performed given the fact he was on limited minutes and not pressured. That's injury trolling.

Our coach has already stated that he wishes that he played for at AFL level at the back end of last year and it was a mistake to play him in the reserves. If he's fit and not being prevented by injury of some sorts he's in the AFL team and not the VFL one

I feel Beveridge has done the right thing by making him earn senior games, as opposed to having them gifted to him.

While I think Tom and his manager bent the Dogs over in spectacular fashion, for the record I do hope to see Mr Tom Boyd playing well on a footy field.

The man can falcon the ball further than half your team can kick. To be fair. His wage will be nothing out of the ordinary in 3 years, and as a big 20 yr old ill reserve my decision for a few years to see if he gets any good or is a spud regardless of the money.
