Look, we both know Tom Boyd is a fat, lazy slob who coasted on his reputation for beating smaller kids in the under-18s, and was shown up once he got to the AFL.

Never the less, his manager - who deserves every ****ing cent of his money - leveraged the Doggies fear of being left at the altar by Carlton into a Izzy Folau-style deal where he got many years guaranteed at a million per.

Apparently, certain Doggies fans were crowing about how GWS has mishandled the fat slob, and allowed his weight to balloon and so on.

Now, Tom Boyd gets a shoulder injury this year. Fair enough. He's a footballer. Shit happens. Apparently his crap form in the VFL is attributable to this, as opposed to merely being a lazy, gutless footballer who expects to coast on his TAC Cup reputation.

"Several weeks ago", he's in the recovery period. And is - according to some Western Bulldogs club or other ("The incident involved an altercation between Tom and Zaine, in which both players were affected by alcohol") - getting drunk with a teammate.

What Im seeing is excuses, thrown up by bathwater drinkers who can't see why players who are supposed to be recovering from injuries getting drunk is a problem.

Ignore the "altercation".

Was he even ****ing trying to recover from the shoulder injury ? Or was he just coasting, knowing whatever happens, Tom Boyd gets paid ?

Seven or Nine news said 'it's been reported a bottle was wielded but we cannot confirm cordy was glassed' or something to that affect.

Zegna shoes don't come cheap, well to Boydy they do I guess, and anyone tipping Tooheys on another person should be severely reprimanded with a backhander.
