Tom Lynch free agent & De Goey as a trade would be pretty good result for Richmond but i cant see Collingwood letting him go this year unless he has another incident and then it might get interesting
Maybe we can talk him into have another incident.:D

Can 100% say Lynch will be a tiger next year

And you’re a chance too.

Not attempting to start anything because I know my history with posters on this board isn’t flash but I feel it’s my duty as an AFL fan to report news when I hear it.

Tigers have chatted with De Goey and I know this from a primary source.

There’s no trade thread so I thought this is the most appropriate home.
This the one that would get oppo fans attacking you Tiger71 ?

I know the guy's a complete campaigner but this has some legs, even as a back-up to Lynch, Dusty playing full forward each week...

RICHMOND SHOULD TARGET SLOANE, SAYS CORNES

Port Adelaide midfielder Kane Cornes believes reigning premiers Richmond should target Rory Sloane ahead of Tom Lynch.

The Tigers have been linked to the out of contract Gold Coast captain, but Cornes sees a creative way Sloane could end up the more damaging player for the club.

“They’ve been linked to Tom Lynch and a lot people are saying they need a forward to help out Jack Riewoldt, but I’ve got a different view, I think Rory Sloane is the man for Richmond,” Sloane told SEN’s Crunch Time.

“I think Dustin Martin is the second most dangerous forward in the game behind Lance Franklin.

“If you put Rory Sloane into the Richmond midfield, it allows Martin to spend 70 to 80 per cent of the time forward and he’s a 60-goal forward.

“And for Rory Sloane, wouldn’t it appeal to him to go to a big Victorian club and a side that is going to be around the mark for the next three to four years.”

The Tigers reportedly have the salary cap space to target a big player in the off-season and would be able to pick up Sloane or Lynch as free agents without needing to trade.

I heard it as well. My issue with Sloane is he’s 29 and to be honest, we don’t need him as much as we need Lynch in my opinion.
Lynch ultimately replaces Jack and gives Nank a chop out. If we have drafted correctly we should have young blokes to come in and help us play Martin more forward. Look at what Conca is doing for us now.

I like Sloane, wouldn’t mind him tbh. Cornes does have a point about Dusty, plus Opposition can’t tag Dusty, Sloane and Cotchin at the same time.

Lynch over Sloan every day of the week for me. Good kPF are hard to land whereas mids can be acquired far easier.

Should do this just because it weakens the Crows too. Gold Coast are irrelevant.

Would rather we went for De Goey over Sloane. No reason why De Goey couldn’t be as good as Sloane.
De Goey and Lynch thanks.

Or more to the point.
