He has also won more centre clearances over the past 5 games than he did in the first 6 on average.
6 over the first 6. 9 over the last 5. Been a decent sized shift. I wonder how much JOM missing against west coast and saints had an effect in how we went about centre clearances. Tom had 4 in those 2 games.

If true I do appreciate Mitchell saying he’s happy to play out his career at Hawthorn. Takes a considerable amount of bargaining power away from clubs.
Said last week his game against Gold Coast reminded me of a guy who was leaving, totally bruise free. Very unlike Mitchell, somethings up.

This is a positive development. Our midfield doesn’t work and we need to hit the draft with multiple early picks (or target young point of difference midfielders like Cerra). One of Mitchell and JOM should be traded and Shiels needs to be removed from the midfield rotation. Mitchell has the greatest currency (he would be a great fit for a Richmond looking to prolong its run).

If he’s happy to move, move him. Pay some salary in exchange for a better trade deal. We have no use for the full salary cap with this list.

I'm really torn here.
Would hate to see Tommy go (especially to Richmond). The guy genuinely loves the club and still has some good footy ahead of him but the long term gain would obviously outweigh the short term loss of him.
Be interesting to see how this all plays out - if at all.

If that’s the case then the majority of the team that played against Gold Coast are leaving
Agree with the sentiment but by his standards he was miles off. There’s a delusion factor from supporters with many others, they are actually just no good.
