Scully should be matching that of other future 4th picks then. Right?
Sure, and so can every other player you traded for peanuts or drafted late.

Ok but this is a known known.Scully is one year older than Andrew Gaff.
Gaff has averaged 26 touches a game over 215 games, Scully 20 over 187.
Scully has had injuries, but his peak just wasn't high enough. Someone with his skill set should be pushing 25-30 touches a game. If you are just getting 15-20 touches a game, not kicking or creating a lot of goals, not winning clearances and laying tackles... you generally don't stay around long.
And good luck to him I guess for doing thatOk but this is a known known.
Scully made a shitload of money for someone who was never that good.
That's the end of it
Not really an argument.
So many casuals in here lmao, bloke was ALL Australian caliber before he did his ankle injury. He was getting 25 touches a game and kicking 15 goals every season for the last 3-4 years before the career ending injury. He was just starting to enter his prime before the injury.
I always wonder with a bloke like Scully, what would have happened if he wasn't drafted #1 to a sh*t-truck club for player development. Sure, he didn't help himself by selling himself to GWS, but imagine if he came in the door at a strong club which nurtured and developed their youth.
As a gut runner, shorter quarters wouldn't have helped him last seasonScully's ability to motor up and back was his key attribute. His ankle has taken that away and he falls back to the fold as an under sized mid, without a burst of speed and no other tricks to elevate him.
Injuries are a curse. As for this possessions BS how many does Dusty get v some of the other so called gun mids? Its what you do with it that matters. Scully hit targets and broke lines with his repeat running efforts. He as also in a shitful Giants team that got belted most weeks for years.

Let's fact check this shall we.
Scully has never averaged 25 touches a game over a season, the closest he got to it was in 2016 with 24.6
He has only kicked more than 15 goals once, his highest being 23 in 201, next highest was 15 in 2017
bigfooty definitely does provide a lot of free entertainment
It's important these reckless mistakes are called outWhat an egregious error that poster made by claiming it was 25.

I’m prolly late to the party with this update to the rumour so if it’s already out there in the ether I’ll delete the post.
It’s honestly pretty sad to see people use their time to make up shit about others. Here come the bottom feeders. They love this sh*t by spreading bullshit rumours. Let’s see who will to flame it
