Finally complete all the "Hard Get Theres" in the first game (Mall and Downhill being the two harder ones to complete)

Still yet to tick off 10 Mill in 1 session. Highest score was 7 mill on skate Streer. I cant find it in me to "CHeAt" and use a custom park that makes 10 mill easy.

My favourite gaming soundtrack of all time, by some way. Will hold a special place in my heart always, especially those ones you listed good taste there. Love that Verses of doom joint too. By the time I get to Arizona, Seneca falls. And yeah House of the rising drum was so dope too

A lot of times I used to just sit and play it on free skate to zone out and listen to the soundtrack basically. So many of the songs were spot on for just cruising around with no objectives or cares in the world.

I hope this one is as good as 1+2. Never played 3 but 4 was my jam on Gamecube. Played it to death. It was also the first game that my now wife and I played together when we were hanging out one afternoon before we started dating. Free Skate, just skating around talking about life and school and shooting the shit for like an hour or more.

Sucks that they are changing THPS4 to 2min runs rather then a free skate hub where you find goals by talking to people.
Even with that, cant wait. But wonder what the additional songs only in the deluxe ed are. Surely if it was just the Doom soundtrack from the deluxe trailer they would say that. but it is Activision so no low surprises me from them.

Was wondering how they were going to manage the two games that had very different styles of play, but still had the same map mechanics. THPS1+2 is such a seamless blend that I often forget which maps were in which game.
I do wonder how they are going to pull it off for THPS 4 though. Soo many of the challenges were set up to initiate around the interaction.
Like how are they going to integrate the Bam Margera Challenge into something you can build into a 2 minute run.

Watching more footage of THPS4 and I really don't see how it is going to translate well into 2 minute timed runs.
The maps are too big, and the goals were typically confined to that specific run both in layout and gameplay (like all the slalom stuff).

Having recently played 4 again on PCSX2. I feel mini games like tennis on College or the slalom on Kona or luge on College or London. Or the do the tricks called put will be cut same with Skitch the elephant on Zoo and possibly other skitch levels or the goals where pros teach you new tricks will be cut. Same with multi goal things like manual challenges on San Fran might be cut to 1 same with prisoners escape in alcatraz, when the bam mini game might be cut. Medal challenges will be removed unless they make Kona or something a 3 stage Medal level.
Not all had Combo so they will be there and bring back sick score and high combo. But yeah a bunch of missions will be removed and stuff like do a given trick over a special gap. So some new levels might be competition medal ones or use some of thr 1/2 parks again
Also the pro challenges from 4 will likely be cut.
It will be interesting to see how different they play. Hopefully the 2nd level in the demo will show us how THPS4 levels work now.

Probably too expensive to hire all the voice actors and the additional animations and mechanics required for some of the challenges, not to mention the map changes for some as well (like the slalom challenges).
I get why they decided to streamline it, but it is still a little disappointing that they are vearing from the original.
They will probably keep this goal in the game, which still gives me nightmares
