Ha hooked on these top 10 threads ^_^ (By the way, this doesn't just account for goals. It takes in all aspects of forwards. Including marks, tackles, efficiency aswell.)

1: Lance Franklin
2: Brendon Fevola
3: Nick Riewoldt
4: Jonathon Brown
5: Matthew Pavlich
6: Stephen Milne
7: Steven Johnson
8: Matthew Richardson
9: Jarryd Roughead
10: Daniel Bradshaw

Unlucky: Jason Akermanis, Robert Murphy, Alan Didak, Nathan Brown and Matthew Lloyd

Hmm I'll probably cop flack for putting in Milney, but he kicked more goals than any small forward and his one of the best crumbers so definitely a contender for top 10.

Ryan O'Keefe not even on the unlucky list?

7. Richardson (have him lower due to his on ball commitments)

You're right about Milne. Wouldn't be in my top 20 forwards let alone top 10. I would rate Kosi over him

No way is Fevola better than Riewoldt, Brown and Pavlich.

How is Brad Johnson not on anyones list???? The bloke has basically given away height and weight to every opponent and has carried the Dogs forward line for a decade. His average year is every bit as good as an outstanding year for the likes of Milne and Medhurst.

Paul Medhurst says hi to all those players. But I guess I'm just bias because I'm a Collingwood supporter. :)

Lance Franklin
Jonathan Brown
Matthew Pavlich
Brendan Fevola
Nick Riewoldt
Ryan O'Keefe
Matthew Lloyd
Steve Johnson
Jarryd Roughead

I feel like I've missed some obvious ones. Medhurst is unlucky, but he hasn't been doing it long enough to warrant top 10 honours.

No way is Fevola better than Riewoldt, Brown and Pavlich.

He's clearly been better over his career than Brown, also been better than Riewoldt. Has lacked Pavlich's consistency, though I'd argue his best is better than Pavlich's (i.e. 2008).

1. Franklin
2. Pavlich
3. Fevola
4. Riewoldt
5. J.Brown
6. Matthew Richardson
7. Ryan O'Keefe
8. Steve Johnson
9. Daniel Bradshaw
10. Matthew Lloyd

A year ago, Brad Johnson would have been in my top 3/4, but slowed badly this season.

What's stopping you doing a list with Johnson on it?

Very tough to do because there are so many different types of forwards, but I'll give it a try nonetheless ;

1. Lance Franklin (HAW)
2. Matthew Pavlich (FRE)
3. Nick Riewoldt (STK)
4. Jonathan Brown (BRL)
5. Matthew Richardson (RCH)
6. Steve Johnson (GEE)
7. Quinten Lynch (WCE)

9. Brendon Fevola (CAR)
10. Matthew Lloyd (ESS)

Agree, Johnno is worthy of a spot in any of these lists.

Comparing Scott Lucas and Matthew Lloyd to Paul Medhurst? Kay...
