Bailey Dale? Probably the most damaging hbf in the league should be #1

195cm Nick Blakey as a Small/Medium Backman, yet 189cm Sicily is a Tall Backman. Hmm.

That's irrelevant, they're mids.
It is relevant in saying different heights still play different roles, Sicily is the second biggest Backman in his side so he has to play on big players more often. Swans have more options to take the big players and he plays a small role more than a big role.

The height of mids is irrelevant in a discussion about Defenders. And Sicily is the third biggest defender behind Frost and Scrimshaw (who have been our FB and CHB all year).

Blakey is a running half back, not specifically a "small" role.

And KPP players who have played this role are?

Cripps and Daicos have to be one and two for mids. One of them will win the Coaches award and both are Brownlow favourites. They have been better than Neale and Bont this year.

I don’t think so, I think Neale and Bont have been more damaging and Heeney was miles ahead in the first half of the year and has strung together a few bog games to go with that at the end of the season. Neale has won so much critical ball and his kicking has gone to another level this year.

Nick Daicos has just won ABC Footballer of the Year. Daicos and Cripps have just tied for SEN player of the year. It will most likely be Daicos and Cripps who fight out the coaches award and the Brownlow. Daicos has averaged more goals than Neale, more disposals, more tackles, more score involvements more clearances, significantly more metres gained, more contested possession, more inside 50s and so on but apparently Neale has been nore damaging. Daicos has dragged the Pies back into games on his own back and dragged us over the line on so many times. To say Neale has been more damaging than Cripps and Daicos is laughable.

I just love that small defender Nick Blakey towers over tall defender James Sicily

Please read previous posts.
The one where you forget that Josh Weddle and Jack Scrimshaw exist by telling people Sicily is the "second biggest backman" in the side (presumably after Frost)?
Anyways, good effort

Just the way I have seen it, would be open to reading others.
Daicos leads Neale by 1 possesion in averages and 1.5 in clangers per game, so not the best bragging point.
Neale leads him on clearances, Neale 75 percent disposal efficiency to Daicos 67 percent. Im sure I could go on there is so many points both ways in the end its just the way I see it.
