Port were destroyed by their draw. All 5 reams that they play twice made the 8, with 3 of them sitting in the top 4 and 2 of them in the 5-8 bracket.

They would probably have made finals if they had a draw like some of the other top 6 teams last year

Don't know and don't care or I know is that our record against the top 8 is 5-3 and that all win's count regardless what round they are played in.

So Freo have had the hardest draw, with 10 games against finalists, and had more wins against finalists than all teams bar Hawthorn. And finished top while travelling every second week. Hmm.

Yeah it was tough but we don't deserve to play finals when you lose games to Brisbane and Carlton. Those 2 games are what I point to for reasons why we didnt make the 8, not our record against the teams who did.
