Exactly...People who say (or type, in this case) "no homo" are paranoid others will otherwise think they're gay, which to them is a slight.
As such, gay people may take offence to the term because it basically indicates you couldn't bear for people to think you're gay.
Anyway, my intention is not to derail the thread, rather to back you up by telling people that no one but your lover should really give a shit if you're gay, straight or somewhere else on the spectrum.
