Who is the toughest player in the AFL who is still playing? I would have definitely said Glenn Archer but he is retired and Daniel Pratt's reaction to the love-tap was disgraceful, making him ineligible. My nomination would be Barry Hall, regardless of his hit on Staker.

I wouldn't go so far as to say tough, but Kyle Reimers from Essendon is ummmm...... fiesty. One of my favourite moments this season was when he got tackled high by Chris Judd and as he got up he pulled up Juddys legs and flipped him onto his back. Absolutely hilarious.

I would have to agree with you pendlebury_10. Before Al Clarkson was coach and Richie Vandenburg was installed as captain, the Hawks were regarded as one of the softest teams in the competition. Now with the emergence of Campbell Brown, Jordan Lewis and Luke Hodge, all other teams shake in their boots at the prospect of taking a knock from any of those blokes.

Richie would be proud. He knew when the flag needed to be flown. He knew when to draw a line in the sand. It was all shown when he mauled those bombers.

Vandenburg was cheap. He was tough while he was a decent footballer which was a long time ago.

It's a bloody tough question though. I'd love to say Campbell Brown but I can't help but feel that it's favouritism....
