Yeah definitely Pogi.

Honestly only reason I'm watching is cos I don't want to miss Cav winning if he gets there

Cavendish. Thirty-five.

Did he cause that near-crash at the end? Vintage Cav though, coming from miles back with 500 to go.

Edit: No he didn't but Phillipsen the peanut did his usual bullshit.

I only stayed up for this. I'm so happy, he's been my favourite for so long. The GOAT. I didn't think he'd get there. I do think Pogi will overtake him but still. Amazing.

The amazing thing with Cav and he openly admits it is his ability to win a race when he’s not actually the fastest sprinter in the field. He knows how to manage himself and he’s a proper racer.

Having said that his peak years were scary fast and he’s easily the best sprinter I’ve ever seen. There’s no reason he can’t add some more before the race is over going off that finish either.

Stage 6 Mâcon > Dijon

Fans of medieval architecture will be treated to aerial images of Cluny Abbey and much more. The breakaway will set off with the ambition of holding off the peloton’s pursuit though the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise, but the sprinters should have the last word on the 800-metre straight into the prefecture of the Côte-d’Or.

Weather:
start mostly cloudy 20 slight tailwind
finish partly cloudy 22 medium crosswind/headwind

Wouldn’t be surprised if Visma push things today. Looks a good set up to have some echelons.

UAE can’t afford to end up in a group behind with their team. Pog probably isn’t a worry with his positioning but Almeida and Ayuso are a worry. Rodriguez will need to be on high alert too.

Good win by Groenewegen. Didn't get boxed and showed he's probably the fastest in the open air atm

Stage 7 Nuits-Saint-Georges > Gevrey-Chambertin

Great wines for great riders! But before venturing into the heart of the vineyards, the time trial specialists will spend almost two-thirds of this time trial on forest roads. The climb of the Côte de Curtil-Vergy (1.6km at 6.1%), which comes in the final section, will test their tolerance to pain. On the face of it, there shouldn’t be any big gaps between the best riders, but who knows?

This is incredibly tight between Campernaets, Vaquelin and Kung. And WVA now too. Incredible race.

Impressive save by Remco to get that chain back in place.

Not the worst result for Pog, he looks superior both up and down the hills and still gained on everyone else

Pogi obviously favourite. Remco needs to be within 20 seconds of him come the final ITT. Rogla and Jonas were also very very good but the other two were ridiculous.
