Really ??

Go back futher than that and see where it started

I think I referred to simple minded AFTER I was called a troll ??

So anytime you wish to say sorry for that I'm happy to accept

Lovely day :)
I am sorry you have provided endless evidence to bring him to such a conclusion.

Now back to the topic at hand..... Essendon have contacted AFL how they can make Ryder a FA... they can't allow that surely, what a joke.

On so it's ok to insult someone that you don't like ?

Ego much??? :)

Anyway now Geelong have Clarke should we perhaps have a crack at Blicavs??

Christensen leaving Geelong has taken them by surprise, we coud capitalise on it somehow.

Brisbane and magpies are at a standstill, no one willing to give.

I agree history proves that the state or club that a player wants to go to can suddenly backflip. The obvious is that he wants to get out of Geelong, should have a look and use a Cooney/Minson plus a pick to get him here. Lets not forget about how sometimes our lack of footspeed cost us games.

So draft order will be:

1 GWS
2 Dees
3 Dees
4 Saints
5 Lions or Pies
6 Dogs
7 Saints

Does that help or hinder us with getting Wright?

Hinders us for sure, would be very confident the top 4 would go as follows:

1 GWS - Petracca
2. Dees - Brayshaw
3. Dees - McCartin
4. Saints - Wright
5. Collingwood - Weller/Pickett/Laverde if they rate them otherwise Lever
6. Dogs - Lever (Durdin if Collingwood take Lever)
7. Saints - Laverde

Would be an amazing steal for the saints getting Wright and Laverde, both probably have the highest scope in the draft to develop into the best KPP/Midfielder, I know I'd take Wright and Laverde over Petracca and I really rate Petracca.

I know many don't think the guy is great but I wouldn't be upset getting Shoenmakers

Don't think he will cost alot(no more than Lonergan) and is in the age bracket the club sea intent on

Think he has copped a pretty hard deal with hawks fans and not being able to get a game in the hawks team isn't proof he is no good

He can play, no doubt about that, i just worry about his injury history, and that perhaps he over performed. maybe i am wrong but when i look at christenson i can't help thinking i am being conned. Ala jones.

On the main board a few Geelong supporters have given a tick to a straight swap of Cooney for Lonergan. Solves needs at both clubs. Thoughts?
In a heartbeat. Absolute heartbeat.

He like Grimely have been tainted by their performance in the VFL GF. a little unfair i think, he wasn't that bad at AFL level, better then austin at least. Grimely is an unknown for me.

No but being smashed by multiple opponents in a VFL Grand Final (who all found it hard to get games at AFL level this year) and dropping a chest mark in the forward pocket which ultimately cost his team an AFL Grand Final berth most certainly are for mine.

I would do this in a heartbeat too.
But what are the chances? Are Geelong easy to deal with as far as trades are concerned?
We've traded with them a bit in the past - Street, Callan, Djerkurra and Robbins come to mind.

They're normally one of the "fairer" clubs to deal with.

True but Jones was certainly a big factor in the VFL GF win playing on Schoenmakers but it should be pointed out that Jones only had 8 disposals for the day.

Schoey looked horrendous in the VFL grand final against Cordy, Jones and Redpath.

So we dont rate Jones who kicked a bag on Schoenmakers, and bring Shoenmakers in instead.
Sorry he is not a backman. Much like Watson at Carlton. Havent seen enough of him as a fwd.

The hawks would agree - have brought in Lake and Frawley and Spangher in the time Shoenmakers has been at their club

Wow... what an epic thread (in more ways than one).

Have finally caught up and now up-to-date.

also Michaelangelo Rucci (I think that's how it's spelt) from SA has just reported that the AFL has BLOCKED the Port Adel/Essendon deal for Paddy Ryder... great news all round, if indeed that's true.

There is a small infinitesimal chance jones now realizes bmacca is his best chance of realizing his potential

Carlton have now doubt gone over Liam's tapes and the computer said NO

Ring up your manager Liam and come back home do some marathon running over the summer and destroy this league

Would love to still keep Jones. Play him along side Redpath or Roughie and who knows.

Yeah then you go away for 10mins and your 10 pages back again.

We never were. Godogs247 just needed to admit his scoop was completely fabricated (a lot flying around here the last few weeks). Mentioned he was walking behind O'Rourke with McCartney and a few other dogs players in Essendon, yet couldn't snap a photo and post it here, because he was too busy working. Apparently.

And here we are.
Did I say he would come to us tool no was talking to them as he would have 7 Teams sorry was right on 6 out off 8 :)
What have you herd in Melton
