Hi Guys, really rate Cooney and would be interested in a trade if it could be possible,
Given we don't have a second round pick do you think our third rounder and Kavanagh would be a fair swap...

Been a tough few days for you guys, know how you feel, been a tough few years for us,
Hopefully you can get fair trades for those leaving and move on with some gun kids..

Considering North rumored to only give a 4th rounder, that is a much better trade. is Kavanagh a outside mid? I'd be slightly worried about getting more Essendon players though.

Keep Kavanagh and I'd probably take the 3rd rounder TBH.

Honestly I'd probably just take the 3rd rounder. Don't rate Kavanagh, too soft, doesn't hurt you enough on the outside to justify it

Yeah I would be happy to do a trade as this although you would have to convince cooney to do such a trade as I would like Greenwood and obviously Cooney could come into discussions. Collingwood are only offering pick 30 for greenwood and we can give him more.
But if it did come down to a swap with the bombers then I would grab him.

I doubt Kavanagh, a bloke whose Dad warned off other clubs pre-draft is the right fit. That's the sort of selfish player we're trying to rid from our club.

We'd want to stay a long way away from his dad.

His dad is actually a nice guy, he's just one of those over controlling parents. The kind of parent that if his son did something wrong in school, he would claim its not the kids fault. But yeah I agree with your sentiment

Want Minson too?

P17, P36 from Port our P28 Minson and Cooney to you....

It's just the fact that his dad was warning other clubs about trading for him is a massive turn off in my eyes.

btw, I'm just gonna get in early with this.

It's my birthday tomoz, so no doubt I'll be poleaxed to a fair degree this weekend. Given the crapness of this week, when I come on here and try and say something just ignore it. (Still blame the stupid samsung galaxy for more typos)..

Thanks. :straining:

You've got the right idea. :thumbsu:

Make a statement Dogs, not to Managers, the Press. To get a Key monster up front we have to pay. Offer any KPF in the comp to come to the dogs for $750k p/yr until they turn 33. If its a 10 year deal so be it. We can then pick through a list and choose the right fit.

We have Griff on the table, their is no bigger carrot at our club, lets deal. If he wants out, lets shop him around for the best deal, (melbourne might give us 2 & 3) otherwise rot on the sidelines next year, we will get our corrupt AFL 2nd round FA compo pick next year. so be it.

With our KPF offer GWS will have to up the anti to keep their UN-tradeables, might make Griffins contract a bit lighter next year. Sing them all the Hymn.

If it needs to be $850 so be it. Just get it done. For Jeremy Cameron I would pay more.

Stop dreaming of a handy pick and developing. Too many tall timber selection fails, probably due to poor development.

We need a Monster who can strut around the forward line like they own the joint, confident / arrogant / classy / Tougher than a $2 dollar steak

You want the members to be more bulldog, give us a big bad ass bulldog up front.

Happy Bday for tomorrow.

Hope u have a great day!

I feel like the club has foregone an incredible opportunity today. Macca had a brilliant vision, one that had resulted in the best young group of mids in the comp. Hopefully we capitalise on his 3 years of work, and use it as our base to win a flag.

I am spewing about everything, really, really bleeding. But i just hope that somehow it all ends in the ultimate glory...

We need to bend GWS over and really ram the point home, stick it right up them, stuff them think they can take our best young player in Ward or our captain 5 months ago and nothing happens about it? Well stuff em We have been around for 120 years they have been around 5 minutes it's Boyd pick 4 and 7. Scrap that that WHE Boyd and both picks

#bemorebulldog

so what happens if we cant reach a fair trade with gws for griffen
A trade will be reached. GWS are good to deal with.
